yes the seat is top fitting (so the toilet doesn't have to be taken out of the unit to change the seat) - distance between the midpoints of each bolt is 14cm

Hello Yes the seats are top fix .. Not sure of the distance but the seat is only suitable for Tavistocks q60 range

my toilet has 17mm fixing holes 185 cm centers apart. Can you tell me, before I break into the fixings package, if this seat will fit these centres.

I can't answer that but beware........the seat only goes down 90°......I broke the damn thing washing it
