This is a fantastic lightweight headset with mic that has a cool "tech" look to it. The inlaid trim on the earpieces has a neat, almost iridescent blue-green appearance that makes it a bit more interesting than the usual all-black style, making me reach for it when I am working remotely, heading out for workouts, or errands. After trying the G9, which is similar though with a detachable mic, the seller offered the G2 to test. The headset arrived well-packaged with a thorough instructional booklet. I love that it can connect to and switch between my computer and phone, as I am often multitasking. It can also connect to Nintendo Switch, which is great for my son who often borrows my headphones. The wire band and ear loops are soft and rubberized, which is comfortable to wear, and I hardly notice the headset on due to the lightweight frame, which is a huge plus for me since I typically do not like anything on/around my head. If you don't like hats or headbands either, this is the one for you! It is pretty flexible and easily stuffs into a pocket or small phone purse, so I have been able to keep it handy when not in use. Sound is great and the buttons for power, volume, etc., all work well. Volume turns up pretty high as needed in noisy environments, though the open-ear design helps keep you aware of your surroundings. Definitely recommend!

These are pretty comfortable, they still pinch my ears a bit where my glasses are but nowhere nearly as bad as other headsets, it's more just annoying then anything. Granted I do wear these for about 10 hours a day.It took a bit of messing around with settings to get them to work correctly on my computer. I can not use the stereo version while using the mic, but even still the sound quality is pretty decent.the mic does a pretty good job on removing background noises, I usually have at least 1 fan running constantly and as it's summer my ac unit kicks on often and the mic doesn't pick these noises up unlike other mics i have used.there are really only 2 downsides for me on these headsets.1) the mute function does not work on computers, so I can not walk away while on a call and mute the mic. I have to use the computers mute function.2) it does not have passthru charging, so I can not use these while they are chargingneither of these "issues" are really a deal breaker...I can mute the mic from the computer and the battery does last...if it is fully charged it does last a good 10 hours of nonstop or if they've sat for a few days without use or charging they will last a good 5+ hours of nonstop use.Also the range is pretty good, I have been able to roam around my apartment and not lose functionality.I've been recommending these to all of my fellow streamers/broadcastersthey work well, sound is decent, fairly comfortable, and last for several hours before needing charged.

I am starting to fall in love with the entire headset family of this company. Our two sons use the G3 headset in combination with both their tablets and their school computers. Works flawlessly and they have easily survived the backpack abuse so far.Our oldest son uses the G9 for gaming, which is similar to this G2 model, though the microphone boom can be disconnected. Seeing how well that model works for him, I decided to purchase the G2 for myself. I am using this headset just for the many Zoom calls I have to attend, so I do not need the removable microphone boom.So far, the headset has worked very well. Just as the other models, it connects flawlessly to bluetooth and according to other people who attend the Zoom calls, sound quality is perfect. I particularly like the fact this headset sits on your ears, instead of in your ear like with earbuds or over-your-ears like the big headsets. Those models always give me the impression I hear myself speak too profoundly.There are a few noticeable differences with the G9, which could have you prefer the one over the other. First off, there is the removable boom on the G9, which you do not have on the G2. The G2 also sits loser on your head than the G9. I personally like the G9's fit better, but this is personal preference and by no means a deal-breaker. On the other hand, the control buttons on the G2 are larger than on the G9 and G3, which are easier to manage for adults.All in all a very good headset. As they say in Spanish - bueno, bonito y barato.

I keep this headset at work and use it every day. I have them big old ears that are almost guaranteed to hit that little red button on the phone screen (hang-up) and these prevent that. In between calls I can get my jams on and still hear what is going on around me when I need to.The quality of this headset is fantastic. No one has ever had any problems being able to hear me during our calls, and the boom mic makes it even better. That makes these a great alternative to the G3, if you want to lower your price a little.The only issue I have run into when it comes to these is I have a fat head and they can slip/move some when I turn my head certain ways. They have never fallen off, they just shift backwards a little, putting them over my ears a little more. That's the reason I give them a 4 star on comfort, yet at the same time if one of my other family members wear them, they have no issues with comfort and it would be a 5 star rating.One of my favorite things about them is one that is so minor. The little wire that attaches both sides together is <chef’s kiss> perfect for being able to just drop them off your ears and let them rest around your neck. It leaves them right there in reach for easy access when those calls come in, or you just got to groove.Definitely one of my favorite purchases!

I purchased the sister headphone to this, and that one was nice in that it had a removable boom mic. This one, the boom is permanent, and for use at work, it is performing better than the other one. While the G9 has a bit better sound, this one is better for phone work as the mic does not come off if you bump into anything. Also, the multi-function button is positioned better in this one compared to the G9. I find I use this one for my job, and the G9 is for play. I am impressed with the battery life, sound quality, and quality of construction. my only complaint with devices like this, is the band is rather large. I understand that this helps to fit a wide variety of head / neck sizes, but, they really ought to make these in different band sizes. If you have a large head / neck, these would fit great, but if you are smaller, it feels strange but not uncomfortable. If anything you have to adjust positioning more. Great service. Fast shipping. Worth every penny in my opinion.
