Works Well for 4G
Cheap and plasticky, but works well for a low price. It's a little fiddly to setup but if you follow the microscopic instructions, you should get through. I used a Lebera SIM. I used a micro SIM like in a modern phone, but the unit seems configured for a large SIM size. The micro SIM can fit into the holder and seems to be sufficiently held, as long as to don't bash it about too much. I didn't test that! Google the full setup info for the SIM used before you start. You will need that information. The only confusing part after entering the setup and Submitting it, was the device seemed to come back with an Ok and Error message at the same time. I re entered the info a few times with the same result. I then noticed further down the menu, a Test button. Hit this and it tried to reach Google, to check it can make an internet connection.....I could, so all was well. A useful feature that. I have the unit constantly connected to the USB for power, so it is always on. I have it on a boat to generate internet access for various temperature and humidity sensors. The WiFi the unit produces is 2.4Ghz, which most of these sensors can only operate on, so the fact that only 2.4Ghz is used, makes my life easier. Signal strength is good, though I have only used about 6M distance to be fair. The response using Google seems very good, but will depend on you mobile signal strength. Overalls, this unit seems very good value.

Faulty product
I received the item, but it won’t turn on. The display only lights up when it’s connected to a charger. There are no instructions on how to open the back cover and insert a SIM card. I’m disappointed with the product.

Easy to set up
Arrived quite quickly, from China. Put in SIM, switch on and it works fine. Really impressive for the price. Make sure to change the passwords as they are all the same and easily guessed. It's only problem is that it won't turn off, however not something one would do often and can always remove the battery.

Not a 5G device.
Bad things first. Really wanted to give this 5 stars as it works straight out the box but it is not a 5G device. It is 3G or 4G only. The instructions are okay for anyone that has used Router admin pages before to personalise Network name and pasword, bit harder if you are a novice. Now for the good things. It is USB-C so charging is a breeze. It is tiny so will fit in your pocket or bag no problem. It really does work straight out of the box, I took the back off, battery out, put the sim card in, put it all back together and turned it on. Within 60 seconds I was signed in to the network using the login details in the manual. Speeds are okay for what I need it for on the go.

Misleading and unfit for purpose
Firstly, other reviews are correct - no 5G, so that was a lie. Secondly, the SIM card tray is a jacked up - meant to fit full size Sims with a 'mini' SIM - the type from old iPhone 4 etc, welded over the top. That doesn't inspire confidence. And finally, the software is completely buggy, did not have the Vodafone UK apn and the browser based software spits out error after error, after 5 attempts of logging in with default password, it finally let me in, only to find the bit you add APNs too is completely broken and just spits back errors, attempted several resets to no avail. Terrible device - avoid!

Worked at times.
We took this to Egypt and I could connect ok but I’m not sure if others could or if worked best just connected to one device. But it did its job at times, but also it could’ve been the local network issues. Will perhaps try logging on to the local network website now home to change the password. But couldn’t do that whilst away.
