confusing boots
These boots are confusing to buy because of the mixed reviews... so i thought id add a review to the mix !!They do NOT have fur all the way down, this is only around the top. They ARE very comfortable to walk in because of the thick rubber sole, they feel like trainers. I have walked miles in mine !!They ARE good for people with wide feet or a high instep, theyre not narrow at all, however they do not look like boats !!I am not sure to date if theyre fully waterproof, as i do not want to ruin them to have only walked in mild rain ... the sole and to approx an inch up is waterproof as i didnt get wet feet. Whole foot in water ( who does this anyways) not sure !SIZING - now this is the tricky bit ..... i like to wear THICK SOCKS, so i ordered my usual size, and theyre fine with THICK SOCKS. ( Wool, heat holders etc) . If i was to wear thin cotton socks, or no socks id need a SMALLER SIZE. so think about how you like the feel and the socks you wear .... thick socks = correct size. thin socks= smaller size required !!

Best quality mucker boots out there
These boots have not disappointed and are probably the best waterproof all terrain boots I've ever owned....and I am a footwear compulsive buyer! Very warm and lined with a faux fur they take a bit of bedding in and can feel a little small for the expecte size until this happens. The suede upper allows water, including sea water to run off without wetting the material at all (mine have been trialled through sea water, muddy puddles and waterlogged fields), easily cleaned of mud with a damp cloth leaves them as new. I trialled the waterproofing all the way up to the moulded inner tongue level and there was no breach of the water tightness. The rubber sole has deep treads which provide grip on most surfaces, the only surface I slipped on was a seaweedy rock surface but don't think much would grip onto that! The boots are so well made they're going to provide a long time of dry, comfortable and warm use through a lot of muddy dirty terrain....in fact they're so sturdy I can't imagine having to replace them! Quite possibly the best pair of quality mucker /Wellington boots out there. Can't recommend enough!

Light as a feather
So I read all the reviews... And got terribly confused. Some said.. 'Come up small' and some said 'order a size bigger'. I couldn't afford to order 2 pairs in different sizes, so since all my other Sorel's have come up rather generous, I ordered the UK 5 (I'm a 5.5) and it was the last pair at an advantageous price...Now comes the odd bit. I have a very wide RIGHT foot, and the right boot fits totally fine widthwise if a tiny bit snug lengthwise (it'll stretch with wear..and actually already has as I write). However, the LEFT boot is narrower and smaller and is taking much longer to break in. Don't get me wrong; I'll persevere and WIN cos I love them but I'm confused. If it wasn't for the fact that the trader wanted an extra £50 for the next size up....I might have gone down that route, but strangely I felt that hanging in here might just save me a bit of cash. I know. I'm a cheapskate. But one boot is definitely smaller all round than the other...The boots are gorgeous. They're actually good to walk in, are warm, waterproof, comfy (at last) and look stupendous. But their biggest saving grace is the weight. My last pair of Sorel's (snowboots) were like walking with bricks on yer feet; these are like slippers. I have hip issues and need to lighten my footwear; these perfectly fit the bill and that's why I am persevering. Walking boots may be sturdy and appropriate, but I have 6 pairs and all are too heavy. These Sorel's will bridge the gap while I heal my hip.Personally I recommend them. But don't everyone rush out and buy them or mine won't be quite so unusual...☮️

Sturdy and comfortable
Thought I’d wait until I’d worn these on a trip to Iceland before writing a review. I’m happy to say they kept my feet warm, dry and protected in the snow and ice. I wore them on day trips to the waterfalls, glaciers and black sand beaches where the snow was about 8 to 18 inches deep and temperatures ranged from 3 to -9 degrees. The only time my feet ever actually felt cold was during a night time excursion to see the northern lights. The grip was adequate and I walked around the sometimes icy paths of Reykjavik with confidence. The boots felt slightly heavy for the first few minutes of putting them on but didn’t affect my natural step. The fit was slightly on the loose side (even though my feet usually require a wider fit) but I only wore one pair of socks with them. They were easy to fasten and put on/ take off and kept my feet warm, dry and comfortable.I was looking for sturdy, quality footwear and these boots certainly fit the bill.I have given 5 stars because the product looked like it does in the photo, the delivery was prompt, the condition of the packaging was good and the product met all my specifications.

Remember the colour of your partner's eyes! 👍
I'm a bloke and wear a size 7 but since Amazon have asked I will attempt a review. Amazon suggest that I could mention ,"comfort" what the heck fabric conditioner has to do with these boots I don't know! "Style" for any Eskimos out there these may be attractively stylish and "value for money" if they bring peace comfort and joy to my wife's feet when she wears them this coming winter then they may be. Given that it's averaged about 24 degrees since they arrived and our holiday to America got burned off then they have yet to be tried and tested. However I sum up my review by saying I love them , they look smashing and if I could i'de be a woman just to enjoy these boots. Get some, no matter your age your sex your religion your creed your colour your ethnicity your political persuasion , just get them. You won't be sorry....honest. This review is not sponsored by anybody...mores the pity xxxx
