It was a gift but I have had one for yrs. Couldn't do without it

We make a dozen hard boiled eggs a week for my lunch and this was a game changer when it comes to peeling them! Works great and as far as I'm concerned it's worth WAY more with the time savings and lack of frustration!

Does exactly what it is intended to. Very useful for when you want to make hard boiled eggs in a pressure cooker. And while you could get the same result using a sewing needle or a thumb tack, sometimes having a gizmo for the thing isn't bad.

Efficient. If I had children I would buy one that locks the pieced.

Can't do without this one. Makes peeling eggs so much easier.

Worked for the first 6 eggs, then it started breaking eggs instead. As soon as a little liquid from the egg drops down into the interior, it gums up the works. The point dulled down also. I went back to using a map pin.

I've been piercings eggs for years both using piercers and a thumbtack. I've been using this one a couple months now and can say this piercer is crappy. It either breaks my eggs or doesn't puncture them enough to make them easy peel like it's supposed to.

Wasn't sure if this was going to work but it did. Very surprised how easy it is to use and the shells pop right off after boiling the eggs. Highly recommended!!
