DREO 6L Smart Humidifiers for Bedroom, Warm & Cool Mist for Large Room

First, let me start by saying I will be getting another one of these for my living room. I really wish that I could post my videos of this to show you guys exactly what I’m talking about but unfortunately Amazon’s having trouble downloading any of my videos or photos for any of my review reviews right now. I do suggest you use distilled water as opposed to just tap water because that’s where the white mist and all that stuff comes from. Refill is easy. The tank is a reasonable size. The abuse is very easy and very convenient. I love how it has the separate spot where you can put your essential oils and it has two different spots so you can put two different essential oils like lavender and say eucalyptus for sleep and breathing. I did realize that in any humidifier the lower it is the higher the humidity reads because it doesn’t disperse so you have to have it waste high to shoulder height for it to work properly. I love that I can control the setting of where I want my humidity to be in the room. It has the function at night where you can turn the lights off on the panel so it’s not keeping you up. It’s very quiet. Super easy to clean and on the app it tells you when you should clean it and it even gives you a tutorial on how to clean it so definitely look at that before you mess with it and break things. You always have to read the manuals first. And aside from this, I ended up getting a water distiller, which is fine because I can use it for drinking water as well, but you have the option of getting a filter that cleans the water for you that goes into the water tank of this humidifier I would definitely look into that and I would’ve personally got it if I knew about it before I bought my water distiller but like I said it’s fine for me. I’m putting this in here so other people know a great item definitely worth the money, even if it wasn’t on sale so check it out.

This humidifier is GREAT. BEST humidifier I’ve owned so far. COMPATIBILITY: Works with Google Assistant or ALEXA & it has WIFI built in to control it from the app. The connection to set it up was instantaneously. APP: Yes you can download the DREO app from App Store or you can scan the QR code in the instructions manual. In the App thereStore is a videos with EXCELLENT cleaning instructional video You can also purchase a new filter through the app which will allow it to reduce that white scale build up. You can ship for other products through the app as well FIRMWARE UPDATES: You can update right from the app. CLEANING: EASY TO CLEAN. Parts come apart easily for cleaning & It’s a breeze to put back. Holds about 3 days of water. It comes with a lil brush to get in between places. NOISE: There is barely any noise. IT’S QUIET!!!! You can TURN OFF THE NOISE FROM THE HUMIDIFIER IF YOU DON’T WANT TO HEAR THE BEEPS with each press. I sometimes don’t know it’s even on. The app is a godsend. Controls at your fingertips. The auto shut off, sleep mode & timer schedule work great. You can set it to come on every day if the week if you choose at a certain time & it will shut off at whatever time you schedule it for. LIGHT INDICATOR: I like that the indicator for the humidity level is BRIGHT so you can see the color change to green when the humidity level has been reached. YOU CAN TURN OFF THE HUMIDITY LIGHT INDICATOR or lower it if you want & you can also dim or lower the humidity level as well. The app even has an indicator where it tells you how many hours you have used it so far building up to 100 hours of usage & that’s when you should clean it. I took the parts out to clean it after 3 days & I didn’t see any of that disgusting slimy film like my last humidifier. All parts were CLEAN even after 3 days. CARRY HANDLE: The handle on top makes it easy to carry to fill with water. DO NOT FILL PAST THE MAX MARK. WATER: I’m NOT buying distilled water. I boil the water first & then let it sit to cool to room temperature BEFORE I put it in the humidifier. TYPE: WARM & COLD MIST. I LOVE that you can do BOTH. You can actually hear the water bubbling when it’s boiling it for warm mist ( used in winter) AROMA PADS: It comes with 3 (2 are away in the unit) You can put essential oils on the PADS ONLY, NOT IN THE WATER. You can find the pads where the power cord is. There’s a lil tray that you PUSH inward & it will pop it out (it may hv tape in it if it’s brand new or you never took it off). There’s 2 sides for 2 pads. Just slide the little square piece with the notch line on it that says “DREO” Left or right. There’s also a MINERAL ABSORPTION pad that’s in the unit already & it comes with one extra. You can even become a product tester & they will send you devices to try out. This humidifier is a WIN WIN. I’m thinking of buying another one for my living room. It’s that GOOD!!! I feel like I have an affordable DYSON OR SHARK product that didn’t break the bank.

PURCHASE ISSUE UPDATE Sep 9, 2024. I am updating my original review from 1 STAR to 5 STARS...due to being contacted directly by a DREO representative. I was contacted by phone by a very pleasant and professional Dreo agent, Jane, who wanted to duscuss my humidifier purchase issue listed below. Jane was very extremely courteous and helpful. She was very concerned about the poor customer experience I had when I originally called them in Aug after I received my 713S Smart Humidifier which failed. Jane asked me to provide her with appropriate documentation and photos of my purchase via email which I did. I was contacted again same day and was offered a replacement unit. This is exceptional customer service. I communicated with at least three different people this time via email and phone within 48 hours and all were very responsive. It appears the DREO company wants to ensure they provide the highest quality products to their customers ... And excellent customer support! Original Review Below: I purchased this Smart 713s Dreo humidifier Aug 2024. After reading dozens of reviews in all of the 500 plus reviews about this humidifier and the "excellent customer support" they have been provided by Dreo with replacements, it seems that everyone who mentioned the "customer support Representative's name" ,.... I noticed her name was CAROL in every review! I had to call DREO for support the same day I received my 713S humidifier Aug 2024! It connected to my existing Dreo app beautifully. But on plugging it in... The Humidifier immediately Presented a E3 error code message on the display! But Vapor flowed immediately ... No problem. But The display wouldn't even work except for the E3 error code. No Display at all! I looked for that E3 error code for two and a half hours and was never able to find what the meaning of that error code was anywhere. So please be forewarned.... That E3 message for this make and model is not anywhere on the internet, nor is it in their manual or any DREO documentation. So I resorted to calling.. customer support. On speaking with a customer support agent, she put me through a lengthy "take apart the whole humidifier process".... AFTER... I had told her I received the E3 error code!! Very frustrating! She put me on hold for at least 10 minutes, and came back on the line and Simply told me that since I bought it at Amazon, it would probably be quicker to call Amazon and have them replace it, than to have their company DREO replace it because it would take 7 to 10 days for shipping. So I had to ask her what does the E3 error code mean?? After asking yet twice again, she told me that E3 code meant a "HEATING ELEMENT FAILURE ". I told her those error codes are nowhere to be found in the DREO documentation or on the website, and I had spent several hours trying to fix the unit looking for the code . She apologized... and said again it was best to call Amazon. I was pretty frustrated. BTW.... I purchased 2 DREO smart air circulators in the last 3 months from Amazon and they work great! And no problems with the app at all. Love those 2 super quiet fans!! But I was very unhappy that DREO did not attempt to rectify their product failure!

Very nice humidifier. Had an app so you can program it and it tells you many things like humidity level in the room. It's slim so fits in a variety of places it also has a lovely color when it's on. The tank is super easy to remove, refill and set back on the base with very little issue. App is very nicely set up. And easy to navigate. Very pleased overall. App also lets you know when to clean it, which I great for those of us who don't pay any attention. Great buy.

I have changed this from five star to 1 star. This is our second replacement and with it being summer we have not needed to use it. I did try to use it yesterday and it’s malfunctioning. It’s reading no water. It’s full. We have taken it apart and redone it and still an error code. This is THREE products in a year, this one having been replaced in June and it is not functioning. Amazon was no help. I DO NOT recommend this product.? Initially we loved this product but less than 5 months in it malfunctioned. The water holding tank cracked for no apparent reason. I had a mess as the water leaked all over my floor and carpet. I was outside the return window on Amazon and so I was only going to give this one star. However Dreo's customer service was top tier. In 2026 finding a company that doesn't give you a hard time about an issue with their product and actually stands behind their product is a rarity. I contacted them, responded to the email they sent and am getting a replacement. This process took less than three days. The humidifier itself really is a great product, especially in the winter when you are using a fireplace. We use it also to help keep humidification a little higher in the Spring for our houseplants. I highly recommend this product based on performance AND excellent customer service because you just don't find customer service like that any longer. Initially customer service was top notch but this replacement we received in June 2026 is no longer functioning in August 2026. It is alarming that it has no water and the tank is full. I wanted to love this because of the size and the options, however, it's not worth the money when it functions for less than 3 months and there are issues. When I reached out to customer service 8/11/2026 I received and email back stating this ticket was closed.

I have had a pretty good experience overall with this humidifier and a great experience customer Service...unexpectedly great to be honest. I first bought the humidifier that did not have the app, later realized that is what I needed and got this one as well. App is a must have!! Lighting feature and display panel control is a necessity, as the front lights and panel can only be shut off with 'sleep mode'. In a dark room, its quite a bit of light...so much so that I had to tape over the lights at night if I wanted the non-connected humidifier to run at any level other than sleep mode...which is lowest humidification level...and in my room gets overrun by dry air. I could see sleep mode and the lighting being a good feature in a nursery or a child's room. When you have the app, you have full control of every feature. The front lighting controled as well as display panel lighting, if you want each button press or action to 'beep' or not, scheduling, and importantly the humidification level in single percent changes. Non-app model only has 5% increments. There is reminders to clean the humidifier every 100 hrs of use, and it is super easy and it dies keep it running in top form. I have put many hundreds of hours of use on so far and maintenance is a breeze. It also has a filter timer tell you when to change the water filter. Which does not come with any of the humidifiers like this model. It is a necessity to either have the Dreo filter or use distilled water. Long term though, ANY humidifiers that use ultrasonic vibration to atomize the water is the way to go, however the internet discussions of humidifier dust are legit. So much so that running the humidifier every evening thru the night, in 3+ dapys the dust had already clogged a relatively new furnace filter ...completely.. from lasting 30 days to lasting 3 days. Heard the pricy stuff thatlast months 6 months isx trash on 2 weeks. So use distilled water or get a three pack of filters ffrom Dreo for 19.99 Bottom line: Buy this if you need a new humidifier. You wont be disappointed. If you do buy it: Take care of it: Clean it using easy instructions Use: Use distilled water or get the filter pack it is a need not anic3e to have I had a minor issue with the filter pack I bought. I emailed Dreo Customer Support and I had the issue dealt with in a few hours. Dreo ended up mailing me a new three pack of filters at no cost, and I was given a tracking number a bit later, and the package had already been mailed. Almost too good to be true Customer Service -> A+

Just got the humidifier. I’ve had it on for the past 12 hours and it’s working really well by far. I’ve put distilled water in it and would suggest you to do the same. The humidifier was pretty easy to set up although the instructions to clean it looked really complicated. The design is sleek and good looking. They’ve nailed the aesthetics of it as well as the interface of the app. The app is very well designed and straight off. It connects to your wifi so you can control the humidifier from your phone. The control settings are pretty descent. No gimmicks, straight to the point. You can set it your preferred humidity level or just set it to Auto. It displays the detected humidity levels. It’s enough to cover a 500 sq ft room which is usually way bigger than a standard bedroom. Makes nearly no noise so I won’t have any problems sleeping with it. Causes no odor. I think the price is on the higher end for something that’s known to leak. Although i haven’t experienced anything like that myself yet. Durability and Mold resistance are the only things that’s yet to be determined. For now, it’s a solid 9/10

So I have been doing my Amazon rounds for humidifiers during this winter because the air got extra dry in our house this year. Another very popular humidifier on Amazon would not go over 35% real humidity in our small bedroom!! The starting real humidity of the room was always between 28 and 32%. It made no significant difference at all! This DREO humidifier has blown the other ones out of the water. I’m usually at about 50% real humidity with this humidifier but at night when me and my husband are both sleeping in the bedroom it does go up to 60-65%. And I don’t mind. I’m actually glad. My nose was SO dry before we got this thing. Not to mention we all had so much static electricity lol we were shocking each other, our hair and our cats hair was all sticking up. 🤣🤣🤣 I think the major difference is the DREO has the option for the heated mist, which I always have turned on. It’s my personal belief that it is helping distribute the moisture into the cold air better than cold mists on the other products I have tried. This humidifier also seems to be producing the best/highest mist. I have had no issues with leaking, I’ve had this unit for maybe 2 1/2 weeks and I have over 120 hours on it already lol and I have had no issues. Cleaning is also very easy. I have had about three of those humidifier “fish“ in them to make cleaning easier. After a couple hundred hours when it was time to clean this humidifier, I had no scaling, no mold, nothing. And I had been using tapwater the whole time because the rate at which I fill this thing and how much I use it it doesn’t make sense to buy the distilled or purified water. That would be a small fortune. The filter itself also did an absolutely incredible job catching the minerals and other contaminants that were in my tapwater. I’ve provided a picture of a clean new filter and the brown filter that I used for a couple hundred hours. The brown filter that absorbed all of the metals and contaminants from our tapwater was barely even flimsy anymore. It took on a new, harder texture from all of the contaminants it absorbed. Like it was literally turning into a rock lol Two thumbs up from me all day.

Franchement, cet humidificateur d’air a été une excellente surprise ! Dès les premiers jours d’utilisation, j’ai senti une vraie différence dans l’air ambiant : fini la gorge sèche au réveil et la peau qui tiraille en hiver. Il est à la fois silencieux, élégant et très simple à utiliser, avec un réservoir qui tient facilement toute la nuit. J’apprécie aussi la possibilité de régler le niveau d’humidité selon mes besoins, et la diffusion est bien homogène dans la pièce. Le seul petit point à améliorer serait peut-être le remplissage, pas toujours hyper pratique selon l’endroit où on le place. Mais à part ça, il fait parfaitement le job et contribue clairement à un meilleur confort au quotidien. Pour moi, ça mérite largement un 5/5 !

Really good humidifier

This humidifier is of fantastic quality and build, its app integration is flawless and I’ve never once had connectivity problems between networks or when I moved home. App connectivity is near instant and the app itself is very well-integrated on ios (iPhone), well-designed, simple to use etc. The humidity sensing is bang on, I have multiple different well-calibrated hygrometers to verify this.. when placed near the dreo humidifier they often read the exact same number. Unless the tank is wet or water has spilt, likewise on the warm mist mode it can overread at times. It is also powerful, and works as an ultrasonic and warm mist depending on mode. Warm mist is much more powerful but uses a lot more water and electricity, I stick to ultrasonic but use warm now and again to help keep it clean. Auto RH to maintain constant humidity, and works very well for large rooms. It has been absolutely brilliant this winter for my breathing (nasal congestion), sleep quality and even my skin. I bought with a 3 year warranty but after nearly a year now this has never malfunctioned and is good as new. Tutorials on the app for things like cleaning are simple. Cleaning itself is straightforward and maybe a 10 minute task, recommended every 100 hours.. very standard for humidifier. Only thing I do wish is that they would start offering the optional filter add-on in the UK, seems like a great idea, but even after a year since launch purchasing is limited to US market as of January 2026.
