dear sir, it is good for rough ground but on tile floors it skids. A shorter and wider stubs like football boots may perhaps add this feature.

I have been using Salomon shoes since long and have never ever experienced such a poor quality like what I have with this Speedcross 4. It came with the highest rating in its genre and price range amongst all other running shoes. The last Salomon is still in use. But this one tore away within 18 months of use. NO RUNNING, NO TRAILS, NO X COUNTRY TREKS EVEN. JUST OF NORMAL USE AS AN ACCESSORY WITH JEANS.I dont know whether as with other products, even Salomon is shipping us Indians with refurbished or previously owned / second hand or low quality rejected shoes from quality control checks of other continents.I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU FOLKS OUT THERE NOT TO GO FOR THIS SHOES EVER.

Love the Solomon brand - use it for work to drive and recce routes for events - lovely and comfortable, added benefit of waterproof vortex. Sizing about right. Would recommend as a good general shoe. Having used in a sporting aspect so can’t comment.

J’ai acheté cette paire de Salomon pour courir en sous bois et parce que suite à un accident de vtt ma main gauche étant tellement blessée que je ne pouvais plus lacer mes chaussures. Ce système de laçage est juste fabuleux ! Et le confort des chaussures est incomparable avec tout ce que j’ai essayé dans le passé en 30 ans de course à pied.La stabilité est juste incroyable et il est impossible de glisser en sous bois. Seul reproche du coup c’est que les crampons semblent évidemment peu résistants du fait de leur souplesse. Un conseil : ne pas courir ou marcher sur le bitume avec ces Salomon qui risquent rapidement d’être lisses.J’ai profité d’une promo pour en acheter une seconde paire d’avance

Bad quality. It cost me a lot to deliver the return. But still pending for refund as first delivery was unsuccessful. I felt I was cheated.

i wear these shoes daily, not just trails/running. top notch, extremely durable/lasting, comfortable as ever, and i love the lacing. my only complaints would be they're too warm (i'm just a warm person anyhow) and i wish they would ditch the goretex, and that due to the treads coming indoors (like into a box store) after being on wet ground they are extra slippery. no biggie. my opinion is theyre my favourite shoe in their class! spend the money, buy a pair.
