No Problems
I've had a long line of Bose earphones/headphones and never had a problem. I was reading reviews (I always go to the bad reviews first) and really couldn't relate to the experiences. I've had every model of wireless Bose earbuds and think that they've got better and better. If you're not bothered about the immersive listening - then look for a pair of last year's QCII model, because I think that is the only difference. The fitting is a bit of a challenge initially, there is a bit of trial and error in getting both bits of silicon to fit just right. But it is worth persevering because that's where you'll get the optimum comfort and noise cancellation - once this is done you are set for good. The key reason I have persisted with Bose is largely comfort - I think that the silicon tips in all Bose earphones sets them apart before we even get to sound. Pairing with an iPhone and the app is pretty straight forward - although sometimes you are paired - you can see it on your phone's Bluetooth connections and you can hear fine, but the app doesn't think you're connected. But it seems to sort itself out. The sound I think is as good as any buds I've tried, I also own Airpod Pros and Sony's media darling WF 1000XM4. Both quite similar in sound - but not as comfortable - especially for long spells of use - and especially the Sonys which I find quite heavy. I've not suffered from any white noise or interference on sound. Through the app you can tweak the EQ to your taste - I've found that it is really not worth the bother. On to the Immersive Audio - this is the big change from the previous model. It's far from necessary but when it works well - it is very effective. I've largely been using Apple lossless and the results vary a bit. More recent releases like say Billie Eilish sound fantastic - genuinely immersive. On rock, where it works well you get a clarity and separation that unveils hitherto unheard details. Overall I like it and think it's a decent - if not entirely essential - enhancement. I do listen to most music with Immersion on - so I guess that says something. The only real niggle I have is the lack of wireless charging. Which you can have for £50 in the form of a silicon case on top of the supplied case. Overall these remain the buds to beat for me.

Excellent
I have had the Bose Sports buds but accidentally lost one so had to purchase a new pair of earphones. I absolutely loved those and thought they couldn't be beaten but these outdo it with sound. The bass is just enough, not as much as the sport buds but the sound is much clearer and I prefer it. They also stay in my ear better than the sport buds and they have no ear hook. The sound cancelling is mint, I pop these in even when studying without music and drowns the background completely out so highly recommend for that. The 'aware' option is also good and helpful when walking so you're alert to traffic. Comfort is good, have them in for hours and don't feel them in. The only downside is the in-call quality. I wouldn't purchase these if it was mainly for that use. It's hard to hear when they're in and quite sketchy for the price. However if it is for sound and pleasure I absolutely recommend these earbuds!

ANC Artifacts (Left earbud), Software issues, etc.
I'm a professional audio engineer and music producer and i had to send these back with very mixed feelings. After researching a lot I ended up buying these Bose earbuds. My priorities were a comfortable and secure fit and I wanted earbuds with the best possible ANC without passive blocking and decent sound quality. The pros: - The sound quality is quite good for earbuds. The lows are very emphasized but don't sound muddy. The higher mids sound a bit plastic but decent. The highs don't hurt and are actually quite silky. The stereo separation is quite good and the depth of sound is decent. The transient response is okay but nothing special. - The ANC is very quiet and the awareness/transparency mode is sick. You can hear everything around you but you can still listen to music at the same time. Activating it is a bit awkward though (tap and hold) it would be great if it was automatic like the apple earbuds. Some people said it sounds as if you weren't wearing earbuds but that's not true in my opinion. You can definitely tell that the mic is altering the atmos sound. Now the cons that ruined it for me: - The ANC has artifact problems in the left ear bud and i found several people on Youtube that have exactly the same problem so it's not only my product. I'm not talking about the constant static white noise that is audible when having the ANC on btw. It's some weird artifacts that occur randomly, sound a bit like a bit reduction. It's random and clearly audible and very annoying. It seems almost all models have this problem. Quite cheeky for 300 quid. (I asked the Bose support about this and they kindly offered me a replacement but not a refund after 1 day haha, i'm glad i ordered on Amazon.) - The Software is user friendly but simply doesn't work properly. (I have a Samsung S20 plus). It always takes ages to find and connect the earbuds and the connection breaks off all the time. It can't connect 50% of the times. It's very irritating. - The most upsetting (subjective) problem is that the comfort is terrible even though I tried all the different earbud combinations from the sizing kit. My ears are a bit smaller than average so the ear buds get loose when I'm moving a lot (they are never really snug) and then I need to adjust them without triggering the touch commands which is impossible. They also hurt my ears a lot when I'm adjusting them. The ear tips rub against my ear canals so my ears get really sore after only 1 hour of using them. Maybe my expectations were too high when it comes to comfort. - As already mentioned: the touch commands are way too sensitive. You trigger them all the time and then you need to tap them to get back to your initial settings. Touching the earbuds is very loud and hurts my ears. But touching them very lightly is a good and inconsistent workaround. - The immersion mode is overrated imo. It's a cool psychoacoustic effect but only people who aren't audiophiles would use that because it messes up the stereo field and frequency distribution. Can be cool for videos but it's definitely marketing bs and not worth the upgrade for me. My brain can't deal with the ANC and the immersion mode very well and I felt really dizzy yesterday. Conclusion: I'm disappointed with these earsbuds and i really wanted to like them. They just aren't as comfortable and secure as expected and they have technical issues. I was sad that i had to send them back because i researched so much before buying them. They look nice and all that but there are just too many problems. Especially for £300.

Bose continuing the tradition EXCELENCE
Fabulous! I’ve been using Bose gear for well over a decade for music at home, on holiday and long haul flights. Having forgotten to take my buds on a recent trip I picked up some cheaper Sony noise cancelling buds. I really couldn’t believe how poor the sound quality was in comparison. I suppose you get what you pay for! Bose Ultra Buds are my latest upgrade from my now ancient QC30 neckband buds. Having considered both gen 1 & gen 2 Ultras, I opted for gen 1 Ultra at a bargain reduced price. Reviews show only a few detail upgrades on gen 2 one being wireless charging, not a big deal for me. These QC Ultras continue to provide sound performance levels at the highest level with awesome active noise cancellation. The new Bose app supports a variety of modes for music, commute, workout etc and has preset features for all making sound and noise cancellation settings quick and simple for all. I find the fit comfortable and stable enough to not be concerned about losing a bud when active. Overall: BOSE ROCK would I recommend these to a friend: Definitely 👍🏻

Defective
I initially connected this to the Bose app and subsequently got connection into one ear on my phone. Then I lost connection and couldn't reconnect to to the Bose app or my phone. Spent some time with a Bose technician who couldn't troubleshoot the problem. They agreed to replace the earbuds upon return which could take up to 3 weeks. All a bit of a pain really.... Update. Big up to Bose Customer Services who sent an (upgraded ) replacement pair after just 7 days Ok I been using these for a couple of weeks now so it's time to review. Firstly I bought these to cancel out the bone-vibratingly loud rubbish music played a my gym and in this respect they have been a success and as good as if not better than my over ear QC 45's. The sound quality is decent enough for my needs not being a music technogeek. The set up is easy enough and there are a, more than necessary amount of sound and other options. After a lot of experimentation with the ear tips and wings I finally found a combination I am happy with. The only downside for me was the option to link to 2 devices at once. I chose the TV and my phone. However if I was watching the TV and decided to check my phone the TV sound would immediately cut out and only resume several seconds later. If I touched my earbuds inadvertantly the music app on my phone would kick and wouldn't stop until disabled I've disabled this function now. All in all for someone who really only wanted the 'world class' noise cancelling I'm pretty happy

Wow. Powerful headphones that are extremely comfortable
I recently got my hands on the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds, and I must say, they have exceeded my expectations. Let's dive into what makes them exceptional. First and foremost, the sound quality is simply outstanding. Whether I'm listening to music, podcasts, or taking calls, the audio is crisp, clear, and immersive. The Spatial Audio feature adds a whole new dimension to my listening experience, making the sound feel more real and placing it directly in front of me. Comfort is another area where these earbuds shine. With other headphones it has taken my ears a while to get used to having them in for long periods of times, I have had no issues what so ever for having these in all day at work. Now, onto the occasional cutouts. While these earbuds offer exceptional sound quality and comfort, I did experience occasional cutouts during use. However, this hasn't been a deal-breaker for me, as the overall experience they provide more than makes up for it. Once they disconnect usually a simple tap and they are reconnected. One of the features I love is the ease of use. Setting up shortcuts to easily navigate through the different modes – Aware, Quiet, and Immersion – has made switching between them effortless. Whether I need to hear my surroundings or immerse myself in music,. In terms of battery life, these earbuds offer up to 6 hours of listening time, with an additional 2 hours with just a 20-minute charge. So far I believe this to be accurate and I havent had to charge the case at all. Overall, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds deliver exceptional sound quality, great comfort, and easy usability. Despite occasional cutouts, their immersive listening experience and customizable fit make them a top choice for anyone looking for premium wireless earbuds.

Not great
1 YEAR UPDATE: new replacement product, slight improvements… As my initial review below stated, I wasn’t particularly pleased with these earbuds but I stuck with them. At the turn of the year (having now owned these for approx. 8-9 months) one of the earbuds stopped connecting for no apparent reason. Credit to Bose, I contacted them on their online support, and we ran through all the various factory reset options, and managed to get it working again. Alas 24hrs later I was back to where I was and after I tried these troubleshooting steps again they had given up the ghost. Bose however were very helpful and as my product was still covered by warranty, they sent me a label and I returned the earbuds to be sent a new pair a couple of weeks later. The subsequent earbuds have had the odd issue, but (touch wood) have been better. I’m not sure if Bose have made any physical or software changes to them, or if the first batches they made were awful, but these seem to be much better. I’ve left my score at 3/5 because when they work, they are brilliant, but for a new product to go to market and have so many customers complain about the same issues is really poor. One other update… the main thing than annoys me still is them popping out slightly. I seem to be constantly re-twisting them back into my ear canal, but when you touch them it activates the controls on them to stop the music, or alter the listening experience!!! It is so infuriating… I wish I could lock this off in the app or similar, when I am working out I set a playlist or listen to a mix, so I don’t need to alter this at all, so for me this is a feature that needs to be added, but could just be me… either way, my ears apparently aren’t the right fit for these, which is a shame because they apparently they were for decades before on other Bose products. ORIGINAL POST: I have owned a variety of Bose headphones over the years, but my favourites by far were the Bose Soundsport Bluetooth Wired headphones. So much so I had two pairs which lasted ages and when I heard they were going to discontinue them I bought one last pair so I could have a set for another few years. I used these headphones mostly down the gym, running, rowing, or even at work as a gardener, so it is safe to say I lead an active lifestyle, but most importantly I want a set of headphones that are durable, sound great, comfortable and also fit perfectly so that despite moving around they do not pop out at the slightest moment. So when my beloved last pair of soundsport gave up the ghost a few weeks ago I figured it was time to look around at the options and figured that because I was so impressed with how the last set of Bose headphones I owned, I would trust them again and go with their latest set of earphones. After owning them for two weeks and giving them a good trial they are not up to standard, but come at a much higher price also. Let’s start with the app which you need to download to get connected and also change the various settings. At first it looks very glossy and lots of cool gadgets, but as other reviewers have stated it is a little glitchy and after only a few minutes it crashed on me and wouldn’t connect. (NB I have the latest software update on my phone so it is not like I haven’t the latest version to work alongside the app). Secondly the sound. The immersive sound is very impressive and it has three settings; the first to leave as is per the recording, the second if you are to sit still the sound stays very central in your head, and the third, movement which allows you to move your head around and be active and the sound follows you around, it really is very impressive. But… I found at times it cuts out returning you to the off setting which jolts you back to a different sound and feel and then returns a second or two later thus resulting in this very odd and uncomfortable listening experience as it reverts back and forth. Next up the fit. And this is the worst of the lot. As I said before, having had the Bose Soundsport headphones, and yes they are larger in comparison for in-the-ear headphones to these, but the fit is magnificent. These come with three different fittings, and I have tried all three and a cross variety of the three because I am aware that my ears might be ever so slightly different in shape/size by the slightest millimetre and so it is worth trying to figure out what is best for you. I tried all of these and despite this the fit just didn’t feel quite right. When out running they jump ever so slightly in the ear but because of the noise cancelling features it sounds like someone is jabbing something in your ear, like a ‘thud, thud, thud’ with every step you take. The disappointment I have for these is overwhelming, especially at the premium price. I don’t know how Bose can make something that is worse than a previous product and get it so so wrong. I guess if you are sat at a desk or sitting at home listening to music these might be good, but I just want a pair of headphones that are designed for exercise and aren’t a set of cans to put over your head, but have the listening experience to boot. I will most certainly persevere with these, mostly because I have to now having spent a small fortune on these, but they are a huge disappointment based on previous headphones bought by Bose.

Well reported faulty product, avoid.
Ok, I'm going to endeavour to give a fair and balanced appraisal, I REALLY wanted these to be the perfect product (as they should be at the price) but unfortunately there are clearly some fundamental and to be fair well reported (here and elsewhere) issues. Let's deal with the positives first, these earbuds sound fantastic, the noise cancelling genuinely does what it says on the tin and they are very comfortable to wear. However, as I alluded to above these buds have one fundamental fault, being connectivity issues. I bought my pair in December 2024 an they worked perfectly well for 6 weeks or so. Unfortunately I then experienced the dreaded 'white and orange flashing light' which according to Bose themselves indicates a fault with the product. Look it up, this is a common issue. To summarise this results in no bluetooth connection and renders the earbuds unusuable. I left them alone for three days or so and for whatever reason they then sprang back into life prior to the same issue occurring on a further two occasions recently. So I've given up and have sent them back to Bose, fortunately they are still covered under the manufacturers warranty. I don't want another pair but that's the only option, appreciate that's my issue though! Ironic that the negative reviews of other earbuds here on Amazon for Sony, Technics etc quite often express their disappointment and say they wish they'd bought these quiet comfort buds. Please don't, you may be lucky and have a trouble free experience but given mine and many others it's not worth the risk. Real shame.

About as enjoyable as earbuds can get. Amazing.
These are the first Bose product I've really liked...for context I'm not into reference , I enjoy gentle colour and soundstage. I love space and natural bass. Bose sound sport were disappointing, and Yamaha, Apple, Samsung earbuds all sounded small and narrow. Not these. Just in stereo mode these recreate well separated clear instrumentation across electronica, classic, EDM , jazz and rock...detailed and rich bass, pleasant minds and detailed highs that only get slightly shouty at full volumes... but far out the immersive mode.....what kind of technowizardry is this? The separation starts to stray into the territory you get with decent DACs. Whilst obviously not 100% accurate it's so dam nice and moreish everything from Max Braiman to Liz Frazer to Wagner to System of a Down were injected with a space and size and shine and I smiled so hard it squeezed them out of my ears..one tip adjustment later and a grin couldn't displace them. In all honesty if you want peak quality wirelessly you need over ears ( Shure are the most musical to me) BUT if you want small form discretion and convenience ( plus the best noise cancelling period) I heartily recommend these. Convenience wise the app downloaded easily after they earbuds found my phone and linked up effortlessly. I'm no Bose fanboy, but these are massively worth the extra expense. You get what you pay for with these... Consider me amazed.

Outstanding Noise‑Cancelling Earbuds
The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Noise‑Cancelling Bluetooth Earbuds deliver an outstanding listening experience, exactly what you’d expect from a flagship Bose product. The noise cancellation is powerful and immersive, making music, calls, and podcasts feel incredibly clear even in busy environments. The sound profile is rich, balanced, and detailed, with deep bass that doesn’t overpower the mids or highs. Comfort is another major win. The earbuds sit securely without causing pressure, making them ideal for long listening sessions, commuting, or travel. Connectivity is seamless, and the build quality feels premium and durable. If you’re looking for earbuds that combine luxury comfort, superb noise cancellation, and exceptional sound quality, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra is an excellent choice — a true upgrade for anyone who values high‑end audio.

Bose Noise cancelling earbuds
Excellent noise cancelling earbuds. It come s with different sizes of earpiece to make sure you can find one that is working/comfortable for you. I used to have a different brand earbuds but it kept falling out while I was doing my morning walk. Bose earbuds stayed there the whole way. Sound is great too.
