Intelex Cozy Therapeutic Wrap, Hippo

I normally would buy a more adult version of a wrap but since I couldn't get what I usually buy, (not available any longer) I gave this a try. I love this! I am 3 nights in with it and I have been sleeping for a longer period of time without waking up. I now call this the magic hippo! Worth the money and heating it up for 1 minute is all I find is needed. No funny smell, nice and soft but best of all very cute! Worth a try.

I suffer from chronic migraines and live in the south....can we say weekly storms or fronts that move through?! This equals many days of suffering for me. No medication has worked....Ever! The only solutions for me are aromatherapy and eye masks. I ordered this after I spent three days in bed with a migraine that left me complete debilitated. It arrived within 2 days of shipping and with the instructions for heating it. I immediately removed the packaging, warmed it up, placed it around my neck and took a sigh of relief. The aroma is wonderful! It's not too strong yet comforting. I warmed mine up for 1.5 minutes and it stayed warm for about an hour which was plenty long enough to get me relaxed and finally pain free for the first time in days! I was able to sleep, really sleep, thanks to my favorite new buddy. Did I forget to mention how soft it is?? I loved the weight of it as well! Every migraine sufferer knows how much pressure you get in your head and how painful it is to deal with and this little buddy helped with that as well as it's weighted just enough to relive the pressure without making it worse. I highly recommend this product to Any migraine sufferer!

This is my 2nd Intelex Cozy. I love how warm they get, and the warmth lasts well. The scent is nice but not overpowering. One small downside is that they are a little lumpy in places due to the animal shapes, but for me it's just a matter of positioning it the right way. I love these.

This started out as a sort of 'joke' gift with a book "I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" (from the song) for my daughter but she soon discovered how great it was. Has a wonderful soothing therapeutic fragrance, when heated in microwave. She uses it for neck pain. It is also very cuddly. We are going to order other cute animals from this company!

The plush itself is very soft and cuddly. I would even like this as a normal stuffed animal! It is quite adorable. This product will easily fit around an adult neck, this was something I was concerned about before purchasing the product. Overall the product seems like it is made out of quality materials and is very soothing when reheated. I personally like the smell, however I do agree that it is a bit strong. If you have a sensitive nose I would not recommend buying this product unless you LOVE lavender. I personally like the scent (other than it being too strong) but two other member's of my family dislike the scent in of itself.Also I read in other reviews before purchasing this hippo that sharp little pointy things stick out of the fabric, this is true. I have come across one of these so far but they are pretty easy to remove and are not super sharp just a little uncomfortable.
