Lancashire sauce is my new go to
You are most likely looking here to find out what this sauce is like, what the flavour is and is it like Worcestershire sauce. It gets pigeonholed with condiments like Worcestershire sauce because it adds flavour to dishes, but really thats about as similar as it gets. What is does and does well is lifts the flavours of things like gravy, a cheesy sauce, adds a depth of flavour to pasta dishes, is immense in bubble and squeak and other similar potato dishes, it works splashed on cheese toast types of things and as it is similar (in the same ballpark) as amba sauce, it can be used to make Sabich sandwiches (which is probably new to you too). So what does it taste like? Well before I explain, don't jump ahead as its a hint rather than a wack of flavour in dishes, you aren't putting a gallon of it in (well not at first anyway, I'm on my fourth or fifth bottle now) so it fills the gaps in the flavour profile of dishes and makes you nod your head. It has a sort of curry flavour from the fenugreek, a slight sweetness and a subtle tang to it. In dishes it doesn't suddenly taste like its a curry (which is the why I said don't jump ahead). A tablespoon or so in a cheesy sauce just gives background notes that amplify the flavour. It does similar to gravy, just makes it more interesting. If you are doing something like a kebab fakeaway, splashing this on makes the flavours pop. I add it to houmous to spread on a wrap before filling it with shredded salad and whatever I've decided to make the kebab from (which usually also gets a good splash on it too).Use a little to start with, you can always add more right upto serving it and after if needed.

Delicious sauce
We love this sauce! We used to be able to buy in in Ireland, but since Brexit canโt find any stockists here, so we have to import it from UK. Thatโs how much we like it!

A very versatile sauce.
I discovered this flavourful sauce after finding some Lancashire Sauce crisps at an event in Manchester. This is a very versatile sauce that can be used across a variety of food types, either as part of the cooking process or as an addition once the food is served. Delicious!

Interesting flavouring
Someone at work pointed me towards this. Well worth a try if you like a hint of curry. Seems to work well with chicken etc and to be honest not found anything that it doesn't work with. Just remember to give it a good shake before use.
