Can this be set to turn on in the morning as an alarm clock?

Can anybody confirm that plugging this into a timer (or a "smart" power adapter) will result in the lamp turning on? I would assume that a touch-sensitive switch would reset when the device loses power. Has anyone actually tried plugging into a timer or remote-controlled outlet switch?

Is any part of this lamp physically adjustable, for example tilt of light?

No, it has a completely fixed position. But it is an awesome light. I put it off to the side of me at work and use it all day. Love it!

There is a white circle with a line through the top of it, it is located on the back of the light at the top center. You just have to touch that spot to turn it on. It has three levels high, medium and low. It changes levels each time you touch it. Just a warning, be sure you aren’t looking at the light when you turn it on. It is extremely bright.
