Murach's Java Programming (6th Edition): Training & Reference

Good book.
Still reading and looking at it. I’ve been side tracked with Golang. But this is a good reference for Java.

Oke
One thing that is great about this book is that code examples are not spread over pages, which is really user friendly. But the book itself was rather dull to read, there are plenty books that provide the same info but are easier to get through. And most of the info can easily be found on youtube as well. This book is not worth the price imo.

Pretty decent textbook
I appreciate that my professor is trying to stay on the more cheap side of textbook purchasing, Murach is a decent way of learning how to code but some of the end of chapter practice quesitions can be really confusing and also can be hard to understand what they are asking for

Top Notch
Excellent as always. You can trust the content to be to the point and relevant. I know the scope of the book is the core of programming in Java but I have some complaints in that there is no coverage of intelliJ or Java with Spring, React or Angular which are relevant in today's job market.. so it lost a quarter star for a total of 4.75
