Is this item safe to use around pets?

The label states: PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS: HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS. CAUTION - Harmful if swallowed or through skin. Causes eye irritation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Washing hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, or using tobacco will reduce exposure. There are also first aid instructions for exposure.

Will it work in coco with Marijuana plant

After reading the instructions and cautions I would not use this product on any plant used for consumption.

You add the product to the soil and gently mix it in. Then you water the plant. The product is absorbed into the plant and makes it toxic to insects.

I sprinkled this on the dirt of some potted herbs I moved out for the summer. They’re full of small flying bugs. Are herbs still usable?

Systemic means the insecticide is absorbed into the plant and as the bugs chew the plant they absorb it into their bodies and die. I have always been told to never use systemic on any edible plants or plants that produce edible fruit. There is a chance the chemicals could still be in the plants. I would not eat the herbs.
