It's far better than the one my mom used for decades...
...and, I, after her.Let me start by getting these facts out of the way:โข It arrived in perfect condition days earlier than expectedโข All parts were received in pristine condition, packaged carefullyโข Assembly was A Breeze...taking under 3 minutes. The mostly wooden frame has solid components that look and feel like professional price points.โข This Mannequin is So Sturdy, I simply lift it by the waist move it around...which does not disengage the stand, nor, cause it to wobble afterwards, or, while using it.โขAll in all: you can't beat the price/value for having what amounts to a Very Proper Mannequin that's suitable for both sewing AND display. The BONUS here is that the styrofoam form definitely allows for it to be decorated/adorned...should that be your purpose. Now, back to my mom's old mannequin from the '50s. Although her stand was metal, by the time I got it its surface had pitted and rusted badly; it also wobbled. The wooden frame on this one is so eye-pleasing, wherever you put it looks more like a work of art than a utilitarian object. While that might sound a bit over the top, trust me on this...get it in black and it promises to be 'statuesque' Anywhere. As for my moms, its torso was a hollow frame that looked and felt like compressed cardboard...which 'wrinkled' a bit, forming creases/indents through time. Though it was still manageable, no way did it ever leave the sewing room to be displayed elsewhere. During prolonged humid weather, it would 'soften' enough to feel pliable. I've only added that because some of the mannequins I've seen for sale appear to have torsos of similar construction...which might be good points to take into account for the long-term when choosing to purchase a mannequin. As for its size, well, although it's not one of those uber-expensive adjustable ones...here's a few tricks for those using it as dress forms that might be useful:โข Pad it...to make it more similar to the body shape you're working onโข Placing a small, somewhat tight-fitting stretchy sleeveless shirt over it will allow you to 'tweek' the areas that need adjusting as you 'fill in' waist/hips/bust/shoulders under it.To expand upon that, old shoulder pads and bra paddings will quickly 'widen' some areas, while thicker items like sweaters 'dressed' under a tight sleeveless shirt will help transform this basic mannequin into a seamstress' dream. Personally, I've dressed mine in similar layers...then bound them with 6" x 15' medical bandages to 'reform' it to a suitable size, before placing an old black spandex-blend tank top over it... which now mimics the mannequin's original covering.Let me finish by reiterating all that in a nutshell: for decades to come, I'm pretty certain you won't be disappointed having purchased this mannequin! Enjoy!

Not too shabby!
For the price point, this thing is great! Itโs fairly lightweight but seems sturdy. It looks great aesthetically too! Iโm probably going to add some padding to make it closer to my measurements since Iโm using it for cosplay. It was easy to put together and seems like itโs pretty easy to adjust. When Iโm not using it for sewing, I honestly might dress her up for the holidays and use her for a display!

Feels a little cheap but overall nice and will work fine.
Item arrived in nice condition, but it just feels a little cheap. The foam is already dented/deformed a bit, but I love the seam trim used. It was very easy to assemble, just doesnโt seem very sturdy. However I think this will work just fine for displaying dresses and tops

It's fine and does the job - An honest review
The item works and looks nice but, it definitely has some flaws.Look is nice, I like the design. From far away it looks solid black and sleek. Though the main piece up close is not so sleek. It looks like an old shirt that's been washed a couple of times. It has those little black thread pieces sticking up, not smooth. It also has a thin material, you can tell its pushing the limit of the white styrofoam behind it in some places. You can clearly tell its been hot glued everywhere because it does not have nice finish. The top, under the knob doesn't look good either, though you'll never see it. One of my pieces also has a dent, you can just tell in general, the whole item was handled roughly, honestly. As for its use, it does its job. Your selling the clothes not the mannequin, at least yet. I seen a lot of reviews complaining about its standing ability, I haven't experienced the issue. As for plainly standing still, it hasn't fallen over since I put it together. I have fans in my room, one in the window and the other in the middle. Its also a small room so we go back and forth touching each other and it hasn't fallen for us. Though it is extremely light, it definitely weighs less than 5 pounds so I can see it falling often with the right person. It also doesn't wobble for me, the legs are even and I have it on carpet.Overall, it does its job if you're not super picky with looks it'll be fine. Is it worth almost 50 dollars, probably not. If you plan to use it seriously, I would get an adjustable one instead. Might as well pay 100 dollars compared to 50-80 for something like this.Pros: does its jobCons: doesn't look very new

Holding a XV dress well
I bought it to hold a Quinceanera dress and itโs holding up even though is kind a heavy. It hasnโt fallen so good stability. The body it self is covered with a soft material and some sponge underneath. The appearance is as expected and itโs tall enough but the dress is touching the floor but again the dress is super long. It feel good enough quality and easy to assemble.

Great display tool
This works well and is a very useful tool for photographing the garments my that I sell on line. It is stable. I appreciate the quality of the product.

Nice form
Very nice. Easy to assemble. Light weight. May not fit XS sizes.

Here are correct measurements
I will keep this but the quality is not what I expected and the measurements are off. Itโs a well designed product and worth buying but be aware of the correct measurements and that itโs a bit flimsy. Also, the pole arrived damaged, as if it has been used and returned. Itโs a foam mannequin covered in material and the material is sagging in a few places. Easy to put together. Here are the correct measurements:34" at the bust28" just below the bust at ribcage27" at the waist35" at the hips

Very nice and light
It is extremely light weight and not the sturdiest, but none of them are. The top screws in, so no worries about it falling off. This one is made of plastic parts , not wood and the styrofoam torso does seem more fragile if it should fall hard. Overall for the price it is good !

AWESOME MANNEQUIN
This mannequin worked perfectly for my male Dragon Mannequin, and because it can be extended to have more height it was versatile in selecting how much taller I wanted the male dragon to be over his lady counterpart dragon. The mannequin itself is a hard foam, very light and does not interfere in any way with the stand's stability. Because my Dragon was fully dressed with extra weight than normal I screwed the base to a platform so Drago did not topple over. Otherwise, the mannequin is perfect for just your choice of clothing display. It is a good mannequin, very happy with what it provided to me.

Great for Price, Beginner Friendly
I just got into fashion school this year and needed a dress form to drape fabrics for personal projects and this one is great for my first ever form! I've seen and used other forms and this is by no means the top tier of its kind - it's made of styrofoam with muslin covering the exterior - but it gets the job done (I sometimes have to step on the stand so I can put pressure on it without it tipping but otherwise it's awesome). I've tested pins and they slide into the styrofoam well enough and the muslin is also pinnable and sturdy. It's a bit smaller than the measurements listed (32.5"B, 25"W and 32"H) but that works for me because they're almost exactly my measurements, just be warned if you were hoping for it to be as listed! Recommend for either dress displays or beginner seamstresses.

A little fragile but excellent customer service
This mannequin is super lightweight and the perfect height as well. It is a little fragile and could break easily if not careful. I had an issue with the top (as stated in previous comments) but customer service was quick to reply and offered to either send a piece or get a refund (even after 30 days). The mannequin is perfect to display clothes, the price is fair and customer service excellent. Don't be afraid to reach out if you have an issue.
