INKBIRDPLUS Portable CO2 Detector goes everywhere with me!
I’d be thrilled to share my experience with the INKBIRDPLUS Portable CO2 Detector, Mini Indoor CO2 Monitor, NDIR Sensor with Full Color LCD, for Home, Office, and Travel (PTH-10C). From the moment I unboxed it, I knew this device was something special. Let me take you through why I am so impressed with this portable CO2 detector. First off, the build quality is outstanding. The device has a sleek and modern design, which is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. It's compact enough to fit in your pocket or hang around your neck with the included lanyard, making it perfect for on-the-go use. The lightweight feel makes it easy to carry around without any hassle, whether you're at home, in the office, or traveling to different locations. The CO2 detection capabilities are what truly set this device apart. Utilizing an advanced NDIR sensor, it delivers highly accurate readings of carbon dioxide levels, a critical factor in maintaining a healthy indoor environment. The sensor's infrared technology ensures strong anti-interference and excellent stability, providing consistent and reliable data. This is crucial, especially for those who are conscious of indoor air quality or have health concerns related to air pollution. The full-color LCD display is vibrant and easy to read, offering clear information at a glance. I appreciate that it changes color based on CO2 concentration levels: green for safe, yellow for moderate, and red for high levels of CO2. This color-coded system is incredibly intuitive, allowing you to quickly assess the air quality without needing to read detailed numbers. It's a thoughtful design choice that adds to the user-friendly nature of the device. Another standout feature is the customizable alert system. The detector emits an audible alarm when CO2 levels exceed 1500ppm, but you can also set your own alert values based on your specific needs. This flexibility is a great addition, as it allows you to tailor the device to your environment and sensitivity levels. The portability and battery life are also impressive. With a built-in 1000mAh lithium battery, you can get up to 72 hours of use on a single charge. It only takes about 3 hours to fully recharge, and the included 2-meter charging cable gives you plenty of flexibility when finding a charging spot. The ECO mode feature, which kicks in after 5 minutes of inactivity, helps conserve battery life when you're not actively using the device. Setting up the CO2 detector is a breeze, but it's worth noting that you should calibrate it in an open and uninhabited environment for the first use to ensure accurate readings. This step is simple to do and ensures that your device is providing the most precise data possible. Overall, the INKBIRDPLUS Portable CO2 Detector is an exceptional product for anyone looking to monitor indoor air quality. It's versatile, reliable, and easy to use, with a design that fits seamlessly into any setting. Whether you're at home, in the office, or on the road, this CO2 monitor is a fantastic companion to ensure you're breathing clean and safe air. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in taking control of their indoor environment and promoting better health through air quality awareness.

Was going to give 5 stars. Then it screamed at me in the middle of the night. ⭐
Sensor readings seem accurate, device is portable, I was ready to give 5 stars. Then at 3am it jolted me awake with a sharp repeating beep. I genuinely thought someone had broken into my house. Turns out it was a low battery alert. CO2 reading at the time? 420 ppm. Completely normal air. No reason for any alarm. A CO2 overload alarm makes sense. A low battery is not an emergency. Charge it tomorrow, nobody dies from a few hours of missed monitoring. But this thing screams like a fire alarm and there is no way to silence or disable it. The manual says nothing. It does not matter where you put this device in your home. If it goes off while you are sleeping, anywhere within earshot, you will think you are being robbed. A product marketed as a health tool nearly gave me a heart attack. Avoid until Inkbird fixes this.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Surprisingly Accurate, Handy, and Easy to Use
I’ve been using the INKBIRDPLUS portable CO₂ detector for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become one of my most useful gadgets. The readings are quick and consistent, and I love that the bright color-coded display makes it easy to see at a glance if the air quality is good, fair, or poor. The rechargeable battery lasts several days between charges, and the compact size means I can carry it in my backpack or even my pocket. I’ve used it in my home office, kitchen, car, and even at a coffee shop—eye-opening to see how quickly CO₂ levels can rise in enclosed spaces! The alarm feature is loud enough to get my attention without being obnoxious, which is great for ventilation reminders. Setup was effortless—just turn it on and it’s ready to go. The NDIR sensor technology gives me confidence in the accuracy, especially for the price. If you want an affordable, portable way to monitor CO₂ and improve indoor air quality awareness, the INKBIRDPLUS is an excellent choice.

A simple, functional product.
A high quality product that does exactly what it is suppose to do. Easy to use. Battery lasts a few days without recharge. The only concern is the association of colors with CO2 levels. There is a deep misunderstanding of relatively low CO2 levels as being dangerous, when in fact anything below 2500 is fine. We are in this context daily in every classroom, every lecture hall, every restaurant and even at home when eating dinner with family. Don't panic if the CO2 levels are higher than 1000. You're going to be ok.

Short lived
While it worked, it was great and very helpful. Sadly though, it only worked for a little over 2 months. Given its short life, I can't recommend.

A good co2 meter at a reasonable price!
This CO2 monitor delivers high-quality performance with an advanced NDIR sensor that uses infrared technology, ensuring high precision and excellent stability, even in spaces with potential interference. It’s impressively responsive, picking up changes in CO2 concentration in seconds. The simple, three-stage indicator system (green, yellow, red) gives you an at-a-glance view of air quality: green means safe (400-699 ppm), yellow is moderate (700-1499 ppm), and red signals danger (1499-5000 ppm). When CO2 levels hit 1500 ppm, an alarm goes off, and you can even customize the alarm threshold if you want. The sound alert is loud, which is great—it’s meant to get your attention. While there’s an option to mute it with one button, I’m leaving it on for peace of mind. The screen is clear and easy to read, thanks to its full-color LCD display. After five minutes without use, it enters an ECO mode to conserve battery, but it remains easy to read when dimmed. It also has a USB-C port, making it compatible with most chargers. Portability is excellent, too. It’s compact and comes with a lanyard, so you can take it anywhere—perfect for home, office, or even a grow tent. The built-in 1000mAh lithium battery charges up in three hours and can last for around 72 hours on a single charge. It’s ruggedly built with a durable rubber coating, ideal for keeping on a work belt or gear, which is exactly how I plan to use it. The package includes everything needed: a 2m charging cable, the monitor, and a manual. One quick tip: when you first use the device, set it in an open, uninhabited area and manually calibrate it for the most accurate readings. Overall, it’s a 10/10 from me—very satisfied. Inkbird never disappoints.

Ehhhh?
Anyone buying this should be super sceptical of what it reads. The idea of just "calibrate in an open space" is kinda rediculose. Not only will the device have to assume that this "open space" is 400 PPM CO2, but without mutiple points for a calibration how would it ever know how much a change on its sensor is also a change to CO2? 3 stars since I think it techicaly is working to tell you if CO2 is rising, but I wouldn't bet on the numbers having much meaning.

Does exactly what it says on the box.
TLDR: Measures Co2. How accurate is it? I have no idea. Packaging: The bare minimum needed to protect and ship the sensor. I appreciate the lack of plastic clamshell packaging. It's a cardboard box, shaped foam insert, manual, sensor, usb-c charging cable and lanyard clip. Kudos for not wasting excess material. Initial impressions: Seems to be high quality. Plastic casing is sturdy, paracord lanyard seems tight, screen is bright. USB-C charging so I'm not looking for a strange adaptor. Testing: After charging it, I turned it on. It took a second to turn on, measured my room CO2 ppm as 400. That seems inline with normal air quality. I then put it in a ziploc bag and breathed in and out a couple times. The sensor immediately spiked to 5000, and the alarm triggered. I'ts quite a loud alarm, you won't miss it. You can push the button on the front to silence the alarm. Afterwards, I got another bag, used a fan to fill it with fresh air, then transferred the sensor over. It took about 3 minutes before the screen showed 1628, then a minute lator it went to 981, then a minute after that it showed 417. So 5 minutes total from exposure of high CO2 concentration until it went back to ambient. So this sensor isn't good for continuous updates by the second, but it will notify you immediately in a high CO2 environment. Now I have no idea whether it is accurate, but I figure it's better than nothing. If I'm working in a confined space, I'll have it hanging by to warn me of stale air. Overall, I give it a 4.5 out of 5. It does what it says on the package. A faster update rate when return to fresh air might nice, but overall I find it good.
