Yes. There is "artificial berry flavoring" in it.

Does this contain seeds with shells?Heard they could be bad as birds swallow suet&seed too fast w shells still on so I'm looking for shell free suet-

The suet has seeds with shells. I never heard that suet could be bad for bird because of the shells.. The Birds eat seeds in the wild all the time and the seed all have shells. They love this suet. I go through 2 cakes per week

Is the plastic container recyclable?

The 12 packages come in a cardboard sleeve (just as pictured) with plastic shrink wrap holding it all together. I'm looking directly one of the individual suet packages. I DON'T see any sign of that universal triangle with the digit inside. The bottom has, what looks like a "3" faintly embossed into the plastic, but not sure if that's a recycling indicator. I do recycle mine. How many plastics now-a-days aren't recyclable?

Totally confused! How many suet cakes come with the order??? 1 or 12. Big difference when pricing value.

i had the same question!! if the price is under $5 then it is only one. usually it is 12 if the price is over$12. it is very confusing as the picture i am looking at says dd-15. one would think 15. and yes thequantity does make a difference when you try to determine the price of each cake. the descrptionsare poorly written and lacking. if you call customer service they know nothing more than thewritten description!! the price of suet on amazon has risen and plus the tax, you are nolonger saving much. most boxes are 12 but occasionally it is more. hope this helps.
