To be fair, the listing states clearly that this book is not intended to replace the official study guide and I 100% agree with that statement. This product is essentially the highest level conceptual information about each of the different exam focus areas and it provides terminology. Having just recently sat and passed the exam, you will not likely pass without the official (ISC)2 study guide, available at ISC2.org AND with at least some practical business and/or professional IT experience.The exam is multiple choice based and it is a 'select the most appropriate or best answer' exam. As an IT professional for over 20 years exam takers should really have some practical knowledge of the concepts, therefore the minimal information, which is terminology based, in this guide should NOT be relied on for passing the exam.Supplemental only, and if the listing hadn't stated as much this would be a 1 of 5 rating.
