I ordered this for my son's birthday present. This is his first chess set. He takes great pride in this set and I got a big smile out of him when he received it. It's only been a few days but so far, so good. He takes it to school with him to play with his friends. I'd have to say it is quite beautiful and the pieces are heavy but not too heavy. He loves it!

This is the most beautiful board!! I got it for my husband for his birthday and he loves it!! The pieces are gorgeous. And the amount I paid for it was a steal. I will say it's a travel size so the storage for the pieces is good. It is good for adults as well to take to family functions for a quick game. Really nice set but looks more of a gift for a teen rather than adult (in my opinion) . I didn’t realize it was only 11x11 . The pieces are very small . I returned it and ordered a bigger size .
