Young Hearts: Complete Greatest Hits

An excellent album, a total collection of his tracks. A must for anyones collection. A good way to familiarise yourself with Steve Miller.

I have had a variety of Steve Miller albums over the years, including compilations. My collection has gone right back to the earliest material, through Sailor and up to Fly Like An Eagle, Book of Dreams when he hit it really big commercially.So a Best Of covering the whole lot is quite a challenge - but this really does do exactly that. If I had to pick a selection it would look much like this. It is not in chronological order, something that bothers some listeners but the running order is well chosen with earlier tracks like The Joker, Livin' in the USA, Space Cowboy well integrated into the overall set. There are hefty selections from Fly Like an Eagle and Book of Dreams, as is to be expected.Highly recommended as the best of all Best Ofs. I am playing it and marveling again at the absolute consistency and musicianship on display. Unbeatable.

There are many 'Greatest Hits' Versions from Steve Miller.The trick is to select the one that includes all the best selection of hits, then selct the best priced one (often it is cheaper to buytwo colections for a low low price and get a wider selection of hits.)I wish you luck.I was priviledge to see the Steve Miller Band live in Hull at the Univesity in the 1970s.Brilliance from a superb guitarist with a brilliant backing Band.

Arrived sooner than expected and in mint condition for a second hand CD. could not be happier.

I saw Steve Live at the O2 with John Fogerty in October and I decided to buy this CD and I wasn't disappointed. It is a good overall of this long career.

The best SMB compilation by a mile. All the hits are here. Worth seeking out by the die hard fans and those wanting an introduction to the Guitar Man. Great band great songs great guitars.

I love plenty of steve miller but his best song by a country mile, heart like a wheel, doesnt even make this 'complete' collection which makes the title a complete nonsense.

I picked up this gem as used. Currently replacing what was cruelly taken from me.Moral of story, investigate before investing.

Very good sound quality. It is always enjoyable to listen to old bands like this. This is definitely worth buying. One of the main reasons why I ordered this was because of the awesome looking case. I recieved the correct disk but the case had a different design on it. On the case that I recieved it had a white background with a close up of Miller's face. Just be prepared that you may get this case with your order instead of the one portrayed by Amazon.

Völlig zufrieden halte ich heute nun diese Best Of - Compilation aus New York in meinen Händen, die es in Deutschland so nicht mehr zu geben scheint. 正直、他の２枚のベスト盤を聞いたほうがいいと思います。これが決して悪いというのではなく、「１９７４−７８」の時期のベストはちょっと特殊な時期で、他の時期の曲と一緒に聞くのは違和感があります。続けて聞いたら一緒なんですが、まあ気持ちの問題で、１９７３年以前のベスト盤第１集と７４から７８年までのベスト盤第２集を聞かれるのをお薦めします。ただ先ほどの２枚では「アブラカダブラ」が聞けない。それで、僕は追加で「ライブ」をお薦めします。決してこれが悪いと言うのではありません。どうしてもスティーブ・ミラー・バンドを１枚でと言われればやはりこれになりますが。
