ASHIRWAD Blowing Shankh Vamavarti Dattatreya - Original Natural Color Conch Shell - Puja Ritual - Shankh - Shankhnaad (6.0 inch)

This is just what I wanted. I saw and heard crew blow this horn on a Catamaran ride in Waikiki. The crew would blow these when the catamaran came back to shore to let swimmers and people on shore know to get out of the way. One crew member had a small shell and the other had a large shell. Both sound pretty. I like the sound of the large shell better. I thought it would take weeks to master getting the sound but I was wrong. It is easy to use. I was able to get the shell horn to play beautifully the first time I tried. Thankfully the shell came in it its own separate, sturdy box and placed in bubble wrap and then put inside of an Amazon box. The Amazon box was slightly crushed on one side. I was happy to see it packed so we'll by seller. My shell arrived in perfect condition.

I purchased this to play it at special functions and whenever I like. I watched a couple YouTube videos about how to play before committing to the purchase. I was able to make great sounds right away. With practice it is becoming easier. It does have a sharp spot on one edge I'd like to find out how to care for. I'd also like to find a purse or case to keep it safe for travel. Recommended! I'd buy it again.

The Sankh is really great. Bought around size of 9”. Superb sound when you blow it. The owner is really humble and explained all the detailed very politely.

Nothing to dislike about this. I received a left-handed shankh that my hand fits into beautifully. Perfect fit. I like the natural look, along with its areas of peach-color. It’s various designs on the outside, it’s details, make it regal enhancing its beauty. I also like the ribs & pink color inside the canal. The individual who prepared this piece did a beautiful job. Thank you. I received this nicely wrapped & ribboned, much appreciated.
