Having suffered a full thickness quad tendon rupture and having surgery a month ago, this strap makes lifting my bad leg easy, I am in a straight brace and can't lift my leg onto the bed without this. I tried with a sheet rolled up but it slipped off. This strap is foldable but has some metal sewn in so as you stretch your leg you can rotate your leg using your hips and pulling tight using your arms. It's lightweight, has a handle at the top and 2 more on the strap further down. The grip is great and the padded end that goes onto your foot is comfortable. A sturdy product and I would highly recommend. Very good value for money.

Just what I wanted helpful for me getting into bed now

This is exactly what I need to help me lift my leg in and out of the car and bed after knee surgery. It offers great value for money and the quality is satisfactory. Additionally, it is flexible enough to roll up and fit into a bag, making it even more convenient. My previous leg lifter was stiffer, this one is just as effective and far more practical thanks to its foldable design. Overall, it’s a very useful tool for recovery.

I have just had my second hip replacement and took this into hospital with me to use instead of the shorter, scratchy version issued by the nurses first time round. All the staff were impressed – and so am I! Much longer and more comfortable to use, with grips at various lengths, this is tremendous value for money.

This leg lifter was an absolute godsend post-surgery - i'm talking knee replacement level. It was super easy to use, flexible enough to maneuver, but sturdy enough to give me the support I needed to get my leg onto the bed, the stool, wherever. It made recovery that much smoother. Great value for money and a real must of you're facing similar surgery. I recommend buying two - one for upstairs, one for downstairs - then you don't have to carry one up and down stairs with all the other mandatory stuff. It reqlly was a game changer. Easy to grip. Easy to slide foot in and out of and with an additional second hand loop halfway down.

A great tool for after a hip or knee replacement surgery! This one tool has been a lifesaver to have. I have a regular PT strap for exercise, which works great for exercise in general. But this one is ideal post-surgery. There are 3 looped straps set in increments coming from the main strap which gives you options where to place your hand for the best lift. The most important feature to me is the wide, padded foot stirrup which stays open while you insert your foot into it. No fumbling to get your foot into it. It’s a game-changer compared to the regular PT strap, where you have to manually open the stirrup each time. (Which is impossible since you can’t bend over to grasp it with your hands following hip replacement surgery.) I leave it on my foot when I’m sitting in my recliner so I can have it ready to assist any time I need to lift my foot, including for exercise. I had no idea which length to purchase, but the one I settled on (39”) works perfect. I’m 5’6” tall. The other feature I like is the thin aluminum piece inside the nylon webbing. It’s bendable, yet sturdy. It easily folds up and comes with a nylon pouch to keep it in, so I can easily carry anywhere. I plan to order a 2nd one to keep in the car.

This has been such a great tool after my total knee replacement. It has helped me with exercise and general movement of my leg in the early stages of recovery. I highly recommend for anyone with limited mobility especially after surgery. The area you put your foot is comfortable, the handles are very good quality and the metal inside is just enough to keep it stiff but can also be folded for on the go. I do not fold mine, so the only concern I might have is if it were folded over and over being aluminum it could possibly break, but for my use it is really helpful. I'm impressed!

I got this for my husband who recently had a hip replacement and it was really useful especially in the first week post op. He used it to help lift his leg in and out of bed and also to get in and out of the car. It gave him a sense of independence which is really important as he had to rely on others for so much during the early post op phase. I would recommend this to anyone who has difficulty lifting their leg into bed or into the car for any reason.

This strap was a godsend when I had my hip replacement last year. It helps take the pressure and pain away from the joint when getting in and out of bed. It was the most used accessory I had and don’t know how I would have managed without it during the first few weeks. Highly recommend getting this if you’re going to have a joint replacement as it will help you move with less pain and discomfort.
