Sleeves for depths: Panel fitting: 20 - 40 mm - suitable for a door thickness of 18 - 38 mm. fitting: 40 - 80 mm - suitable for a door thickness of 38 - 78 mm. Please see image second and third to check your measurement for which size letter box you require. A rounded ergonomic design with internal and external spring loaded flaps, they also incorporate a brush seal for draught improvement. A range of colour finishes is available and all are supplied with a black surround for improved UV stability. Finishing is either by powder coated paint in the case of white or anodising for all other colours except chrome (plated). Polished silver is an anodised but polished finish similar to polished chrome.

A good fit and can cut to size
Luckily was a direct fit replacement for me. The depth was a bit long for our door, but as it is plastic it was easy to shorten the depth with a standard saw. Having the option to use the supplied screws or can punch out the additional holes to screw on each side of the door rather than all the way through.

it is a good fit width wise but the depth was to big
i have given this 4 stars because i had to cut it to size. it is a good fit width wise but the depth was to big, so i used a hacksaw and cut it back. fits perfectly now. bit of a pain to screw into the door as i had to make new holes and the fact that their are 2 flaps. one on the front of the door and one on the interior is good, as this stops any draft coming throw.good buy.

good value for money
The letter box is of a good standard and very good value for money. Only disappointment is no fitting instructions or template to work too.

Very smart and functional
Difficult to make out the quality from the product shots. No regrets, however, this is a very nicely made item. It is evident that a good deal of thought has gone into all aspects of the design. The draft excluder brush is effective while not being so firm as to make it difficult for the postie. There is a further draft excluder strip around the front aperture which also muffles the sound of the outer letter plate being closed. There is a die-cut gasket and fitting screws in the kit, together with a tunnel. Excellent product.

Get letters through the door.
Good replacement for my broken letterbox. Had to make minor ajdustments to the door but that was not the fault of the letterbox.
