I recently ordered these stair tread carpets, and I'm very happy with them! They were easy to install and immediately transformed the look of my stairs. These work great for wooden stairs for slip resistance. They look great. Size is perfect. Easy to install. Stay in place.

Worked out well for redoing my stairs on the cheap. I have been happy with how well they have held up so far with pretty consistent traffic. The self adhesive did not work but I suspect that is from the texture of the stairs. A few staples from the staple gun fixed that. A huge improvement over the 30 year carpet that was already on the stairs. I just moved to a new NYC apartment with a scary set of open stairs, and I was so nervous about slipping and falling. I ordered these stair treads honestly because they were on the cheaper end and I didn't want to spend too much. The quality is surprisingly great for the low price! I don't wear shoes at home, and the pads feel pretty soft with both socks and bare feet, kind of like a thicker soft felt material. They seem to have noticeably more friction, which is good for peace of mind so I don't slip and fall.They were easy to install and so far the self adhesive backing is working great, but I'm glad they also included a roll of carpet tape in case I want to use more powerful adhesive to stick it down.Unfortunately, last weekend I slipped and fell down a flight of wood stairs at my friend's apartment, and she did not have any stair treads on hers. I could not get a grip while falling all the way down because the wood floor was so slippery. I hit my head and had to go to the ER to get staples put in my scalp. :( I'm so glad that I have the treads in my apartment - I hope that even if I do end up slipping someday on MY stairs, that the additional grip will help me stop myself instead of continuously falling like I did at my friend's place.

I rented an Airbnb for a month. The bedrooms, office, and shower were all upstairs. The stairs were steep, narrow, and painted wood. My German Shepherd tried the stairs and found them too slippery so she wouldn't go up them. This forced me to sleep downstairs on the couch for a week because she would whine every time I went up without her.So I ordered these stair treads right away for me and my dog because my sister-in-law slipped on her stairs and really hurt herself. They bought a new house with no stairs. I've slipped on stairs before too. I definitely don't need to hurt myself. My next Airbnb has no stairs, so I'm leaving these behind as a gift to future guests and their pets.They were so easy to apply. I cleaned and dried the stairs and simply aligned these into place. They came with a role of tape, but I didn't need it. The non-slip backing on the treads lays flat and they haven't moved in three weeks. I can vacuum them and they stay in place. I love that they can be washed too.I got the Dark Grey - N color. They look great with the decor here, and come in other attractive colors as well. Me and my dog are happy to use and feel safe on the stairs now. A friend of mine wants some for her VRBO now. You won't be sorry if you order these!

We have a 13 year old lab mix dog who was beginning to slip going down our stairs, which she uses every day. We needed to come up with a solution, and these Kooteta stair treads fit the bill perfectly. We knew we wanted a carpeted material, but did not want a drab gray, so we were glad the were offered in other colors (we chose blue). The application process is easy, just peel a protective film from the back and apply to the stairs, they stick immediately. They do not shift AT ALL as our dog is coming down the stairs,and she does so much more comfortably now. They are also nice for us to walk on as well. Additionally, even though they stick well, they appear to be able to be removed and reapplied if needed without any damage to the underlying wood. Also Kooteta claims they are machine washable, but we have not tried that yet. We would highly recommend this product

These stair pads are great. My dog doesn't slip down the stairs anymore. It took me about 15 minutes to cover the whole staircase with them, and they stuck nicely to the stairs. The texture is definitely anti-slip. I am so happy with this product. They are easy to vacuum, and stick nicely to the wood surface. A week later, they are flush with the stairs and look great.
