HOMCOM 5-Tier Wall Mounted Display Cabinet Glass Doors Black

This display cabinet has worked very well for me, and this is actually my second purchase. Installation was straightforward, and the instructions were better than I expected. They came in multiple languages, and the English instructions were accurate and easy enough to follow. Once mounted properly, the cabinet sits stable on the wall and looks good as a display piece. The doors work smoothly, and the tempered glass gives it a nicer look while still feeling durable. The adjustable shelves are useful for arranging different-sized items, and the cabinet feels sturdy once it is hung correctly. I also have to give it credit for durability: I play VR near mine and have accidentally hit it pretty hard more than once, but it has taken those bumps without showing any signs of damage. My only concern is with the included mounting screws. They seemed a little questionable to me for supporting a cabinet of this weight, especially once you add items inside. I would recommend making sure it is mounted into studs or using better hardware if needed for your wall type. Other than that, I have been very happy with it. It is stable, attractive, functional, and durable enough that I bought another one. Great buy in my opinion!

Neat display case, it is certainly made from materials that warrant the price so you get what you pay for. The back panel isn’t flush to each end but you don’t see the edges back there so I guess it doesn’t matter. I wasn’t too pleased that it only gives you two screw on hanging bits and frankly it doesn’t seem like it’ll hold a fair amount of weight with just those so I added on L brackets on the bottom for extra support and stability since if you utilize just the two bits there’s nothing on the bottom keeping it stable when you slide the glass over to the side. I wish there was another inch between the shelf’s cause it doesn’t fit a standard shot glass size except for the bottom shelf but I guess it was designed that way for a reason. I would recommend having a friend help put it up otherwise it would take forever to hang it yourself since it’s decently heavy. All in all happy with it just not the chef’s kiss

Just what I was looking for. I ordered 2 of them to display my collection of PEZ's.

I’ll start by saying I love this, it’s sturdy, perfect for what I needed, and not bad for the price. But the dimension image showed the shelves being 4.5 in between each one. The top shelf of mine is smaller and it bums me out that I have shorter, almost unusable shelf that won’t fit my Sonny Angel collection. Im also having trouble with one of the doors. It’s constantly getting stuck, I’ve tried scraping it down more because I noticed these shavings all over after sliding the doors around. If I’m careful and lift it up it’s fine and this is mainly not something I’ll be opening too often. Hope this helps.

I purchased two units for my embroidery thread. My intention was to wall mount; however, it's made of what I call pressed board/cheap material. Packed well but there were some corners slightly damaged. The hardware placement on the back for mounting doesn't allow you to hit two studs and due to the weight of the unit once assembled with the glass (the glass is what makes it heavy), I was not confident to wall mount without being able to hit two studs so these are sitting on my sewing desk. The back piece for the unit is flimsy, thin and comes folded in half. Instructions say for two people to assemble but I took my time and put it together myself. Be sure to remove the number stickers on the glass before you put it together; you'll need goo gone or something similar as the stickers leave a residue that's hard to get off. They serve the purpose for what I purchased them for but because of the material they are made of, I think they are overpriced.

Very acceptable design but top and bottom shelves are very different heights than adjustable shelves. --=== Why I chose this. ===-- The only way to go cheaper than this is to go with full acrylic models, which would be great for Warhammer or other figurines. However, I'm using this as a rack for my glass spice jars, jars of cooking oil, and the glass doors will serve as a backsplash to the stove. So I needed something a bit beefier to handle the heat of the stove. After hunting Etsy for full wood versions at $250+ I decided to go with this version for the next few years. MDF will not hold up long term to the humidity from the stove. So, one day I will remake this out of plywood and veneer for something that will last a lifetime. I am happy with this design and if I ever had the need for another I would buy it again.

I really want to give this a better review because sadly it seems to the be only product of its type at a reasonable price point but I can’t. The level of quality would potentially be less jarring at about £20 less. The dimensions were perfect for me so I have kept it and will touch it up with black paint but if I had other options I’d return it based on quality. I know this is a budget item but it is fairly shoddy. The laminated surface is poor in a lot of places not due to damage but just poor quality. It’s flimsy so getting it put together square isn’t easy. The construction itself is simple but the finished product lets it down. See pics for the type of quality you will be dealing with. As an aside the packaging was odd. Whatever was used produced very tiny little fibres similar to fibreglass all over everything which was a little concerning. Annoyingly I would probably buy another one if I wanted a matching one but it’s nowhere near worth the amount it is priced at. Functionally it works, the doors slide, the glass appears to be ok, the runners the glass slides in are cheap and I had to sand the corners of the glass as they were sharp enough to bite into the cheap plastic runners.

Ok for the money. The self assembly system used was very 1980,s. Most of the pilot holes were missing. Not dead squar but for the money does not look too bad. I,m ok at DIY and was able to sort things out. Hanging brackets could be stronger and better designed.

Easy to put together and good size. However, the mounting hooks aren't far enough apart to both hit studs so the screws need to be put in on weird angles to hit the stud and make it secure.
