I got this to store my mother's wedding dress, which is over 70 years old, as well as fragile items such as Christening dresses.The box arrives flat packed and has a separate bottom piece which keeps everything strong and sturdy.I lined it using some of the acid free tissue paper (even though the box is covered inside and out with a nice quality cream fabric) and then wrapped the dress in more tissue paper and only needed to fold it once. There is ample space in the box for other sentimental items, so in addition to the dress, veil and slip, I also managed to put in some family christening clothes and knitted baby clothes and bootees, some of which are almost 100 years old.These items had been stored in various cardboard boxes, but now they are protected and all together on a wardrobe shelf.The box itself is good quality with a zip and two handles. The acid free tissue paper provided is ample to line the box and wrap all the clothes, and the addition of a pair of gloves is a nice touch, especially when handling delicate fabrics.I am so pleased that all my sentimental and delicate items are now protected in one place.
