Retaines heat well for ten to fifteen minutes
Retaines heat well for ten to fifteen minutes. Good size for your hand. Stays comfortably in place while you sit and watch TV. I found wrapping a velcro strap around it over my knuckles helped me do other things while still getting the benefits of the heat but be very aware that applying pressure on the bean bag does make the heat more intense and could result in burns if you have diminished feeling in that area!

We use these for a little extra heat for our guinea pigs in the winter - slip it into a waterproof pouch and keep you piggy's toes toasty :)
