These worked fine for me. My discontinued Logitech rf remote of nearly 20 years died and I needed to find an alternative for a hidden cable system with the decoder box in an adjacent room. This did the trick. The system offers the pucks which are relatively small or you can use the small receiver and transmitter add on (included) that make it virtually unnoticeable. I am ok with the puck visible on my mantle and have not bothered to attach the small receiver. I have not had any problems with receiving angles or transmitters not being recognized. A pretty simple fix relying on a power source behind your tv- and one near your cable box and other equipment- I assume both already exist.

Operating video or audio devices in a closed space creates problems with IF controllers that need direct line of site sight to operate. These radio units provide a simple way to communicate to the enclosed electronic equipment.The only limitation is the receiver and the emitter each required a power supply. An AC power source is necessary for both.

My stereo equipment in a cabinet to provide sound to my TV. I needed to have the door open to control the equipment. Now I can have the cabinet door closed and control it. Works great and looks much better with the cabinet closed.

So, the system does the job. My one complaint is that both of the pucks have extensions, but they plug in the front next to the IR sensor/transmitter. The extensions should plug in the back by the power input so when you use both the puck and the extensions you can position the puck without seeing the extra cable. Other than that, or if you don't need the extension sensor, it’s a good system and allows me to keep my home theater gear in a closed rack cabinet.

Opened the package, placed in front of the TV's, plugged in and they work great. I like the blue light on the receiver lights up when you us the TV remote to indicate it is seeing the TV remote. I placed my receiver under the TV in the Kitchen and the Transmitter- Emitter in the front room about 20 feet away from the TV to control the TV and Cable box. Like I said works great. will see how long it last.

Only works with some DVD players.Company tried to help without sucess. Kept it because it works with one player I have.disappounted
