This is a high temperature glue gun, so the glue gets very hot. Thanks for your interest!

Q: How many glue sick’s does it come with?

Mine came with a small supply of nine glue sticks to get you started but make sure you buy 5/16" hot glue sticks for use with this mini glue gun. All of the information on this page says it uses 7/16" but that is incorrect. I will see if I can contact them to correct their page. Nov 2022.

Q: Does it need a specific size of the glue sticks?

Yes, this MINI glue gun needs MINI glue sticks. Mini glue sticks are usually standard size at 0.27 inches in diameter. And the glue sticks are usually 4 inches in length, but you can use any length glue stick. Also, this is a high temperature glue gun, meaning the glue melts at a very hot temperature so look for glue sticks that are for high temperature glue guns on Amazon.
