LeapFrog Mr Pencil's Scribble, Write and Read, Pink

We bought this for our 2 and a half year old son. His favorite part is the number of animals that are used when introducing the letters and letter sounds. I sit with him while he plays with it to encourage him to repeat the sounds. He is now repeating the sounds on his own. Children’s names can be programmed in to help the children learn how to spell their names.

My great nephew loves the Mr. Pencil! He enjoys very much that it talks back to him and he thinks that it’s his friend and it is working well on teaching him. I bought him both the leapfrog leap pad and Mr. Pencil thinking he could grow into the leapfrog but get used to it by watching videos and and with playing on it and practicing but Mr. Pencil is very practical for now and very cost effective and for a 3 year old, just perfect! It’s just the right size, it’s sounds great, it’s durable and he’s a tough little guy so we needed to make sure it was and it is. It stands out as a perfect learning toy for a child because it keeps their attention, it’s bright and colorful and it talks to them and every child needs to use their imagination and this is perfect for that. They get to learn all sorts of things from an age appropriate friend and use their imagination and you really can’t ask for more than that in a wonderfully priced toy! I have had to buy stock in batteries though because he uses it all the time but I’m not complaining, I’m excited to see him happy about learning!

Cute educational toy! My daughter really seemed to enjoy this but the pen is a little temptemental sometimes with not wanting to pick up the pressure on the screen, they have to push pretty hard. If you have a kid like my 3 year old that holds pencils very gently it might need a little practice to get the hang of. Its good for us over all, a nice thing to take with us when my son had football practice so my daughter isn't too bored!

I highly recommend this product. My 17 month old daughter can't get enough of it. She can practice writing letters and numbers, practice writing her first, middle, and last name, learn to connect the dots to draw, identify letters, and more. She already knew her letters and sounds but due to her limited fine motor skills due to age, writing hasn't been possible before this. The pencil size is large enough she can easily grasp it. This toy is very engaging and easy to use. It is the perfect gift for any child still working on letter/number reading and writing.

Super durable for little ones. My child is 4 years old and enjoys playing with this toy. It's helped him with writing/drawing/tracing and seems to have a long battery life. The color is vibrant and the screen is grey and black. It keeps my child's attention for a long time since there are plenty of educational play options on the toy.

It's great, teachs letters,numbers, spelling, and reading. It sounds out the words to help children read. It's engaging for children.

Big hit for a 4 year old who is super interested in learning his letter and sounds and writing. He's pretty hard on things and it has been durable. There's a decent battery life I change them every couple weeks and the volume isn't annoying
