I am a beginner to making espresso and got this when looking for a tamper. It has a nice weight to it and doesn’t feel cheap. It also comes with a little mat to keep the counter clean so I appreciated that. Highly recommend this product.

My goal was to simplify and enhance my latte making process. Having this 2in1 tool helps save space and is easy to use. Comes with replacement pins and a nice silicone pad to rest tamper on. Definitely recommend!!

Product looks clean, and is as described. The extra little bag of feelers I received was damaged, as they were all bent perfectly at 45 degrees, yet the package was not damaged. The only reason I reduced the rating is that the top portion needs to have a magnet, or a locking thread to spin the top and lock it to the tamper. When you use it in your hand, with the top on your palm, it kinda bounces around freely if you don't apply enough pressure.

It has acceptable quality and is made with lightweight material. It effectively mixes the coffee and measures the pressure precisely according to the standard chart. However, the main aspect they should improve is the scent holder, as after each use, it's challenging to handle near the coffee machine due to the sharp needle part. It would be great if they included a holder with this box. Despite this issue, it maintains acceptable quality and performs very well.

Heafty, good material, do what the supposed to. Mild annoyance, the top is loose so don't tip over else it'll go flying

It is compact but incorporates two espresso tools in one—tamper and distribution tines. An extra set of tines were included for changing out when needed. A silicone coaster was also provided to use when tamping coffee grounds in a portafilter. Everything washes and (air) dries very well. Very useful and worthwhile to have when making espresso.

feels good in the hand, though i do sometimes forget the head is the handle to the needles and when i'm pressing it into the portafilter will sorta knock it over a little. no big deal, it just takes some getting used to. it's really so succinct and useful, it does its job well. the silicone landing pad is such a thoughtful touch, i especially like having a dedicated space to place the tamp. it really grabs those loose grounds that may get lodged in the rings. it sorta looks like a chess piece to me and that somehow really compliments my manual grinder next to which it sits. i really like it actually, simple and effective.

I purchased this because I was intrigued with the look of a chess piece for a WDT. The tamper was a neat add on but I personally don't favor a ridged tamp. I prefer smooth. I'm not taking anything away from this because of that as it was perfectly disclosed in the description and I really did not purchase for the tamp function.I like the small rubber mat that is included as it will keep the unit off the counter which is nice and I wish others would include a mat such as this with their units. The WDT tool came with straight needles and another set packaged with angled needles. I do not use nor did I test the angled needles. I like the WDT portion of the tool fine. At this price point if you need a tamper and WDT then I think your going to like this unit. I did tamp one puck so I could comment and my only concern is that the top WDT portion of the unit is loose fitting. If you slip or anything I could see how it might be uncomfortable or even be possible to damage the needles. This is not a major concern however and if you like the look I would not let this keep me from buying it.I give this unit 4 solid stars. At this price point it's a great way to get both a WDT and a tamper in one convenient unit.
