My daughter has very thick long hair and she is always getting friends! I have tried everything!! This has its positives and negatives.Positives - easy to put on - not greasy - easy to wash out - only needs one wash - smells niceNegatives - used half a bottle for the first go and half a bottle for the second go a week later and low and behold her friends have returned even though I comb with a nitty gritty comb every other day. I don’t believe this product kills the eggs!Over all not bad but not 100% effective. I don’t think any of them are.

Worked after 2 treatments
My daughter brought head lice home from nursery so we used this product right away. My son, wife and I also used it to be safe. We also washed all clothes and bedding and used a nit combe (took forever with my daughter's curly hair).Less than a week later it reoccurred not only in my daughter but also my son and wife. Sadly even just a couple of eggs surviving is all it takes to reoccur, so be generous with the mousse. We repeated the process without using a combe, and also followed on with Escenti Tea Tree Spray daily as lice struggle to survive and breed in the presence of tea tree oil. If you apply generously and often, they can rarely survive.So far so good. There are less and less eggs visible, and although I'm not sure you can directly kill the eggs with these products, you can make it so that your hair is not a habitable environment for the eggs to hatch and breed. Without a habitable environment they die out after 8-9 days. So just keep it at and absolutely do not be stingy with these products - buy a couple boxes to start with.Be prepared to possibly repeat the process but just be generous with the products
