I never normally write reviews but I have to with this book - I was blown away!This is the best sketchbook I have ever worked in. As an illustrator I am super picky about paper, binding etc... and this book got everything right. Super smooth and good quality paper, lay-flat binding which is a must for me now and a useful pocket at the back.The front cover is super soft and looks such high quality! It's easy to transport and the packaging was beautiful!! It would make such a great gift for any creative - think beautiful box, tissue paper, stickers etc. You can tell it's been so thoughtfully made and I would only ever shop with this company now for journals, notebooks & sketchbooks!Such good value for money! I would give more starts if I could. This sketchbook is beautiful and feels more expensive. I love a good notebook and I bought this so I can write with my dip pen and ink, because the pages are a bit thicker. It’s hard to find a notebook that supports dip pen, so I was worried that the paper might bleed through. But I am amazed that the paper does not bleed through and there is very little ghosting on the next page. I love that the book is A4 sized, most notebooks are smaller but I prefer a bigger page. Texture of the paper is beautiful, the writing is so smooth, even with dip pen, which is amazing. Makes me want to write every day! I couldn’t be happier. Beechmore will be my main supplier for notebooks going forward.

Absolutely fantastic sketchbooks. The paper is the perfect weight to take most media, I used watercolour on it quite comfortably.The book itself is incredibly thick and large enough that drawing in it isn't a struggle. It's well bound and came in a beautiful gift box. I will be buying again.

This is just lovely, and a perfect sketchbook. It's sturdy and robust, with good quality paper which is perfect for all dry mediums, and thick enough to be able to use both sides without bleeding through. The paper is quite smooth, and though I might have preferred it to have a little more tooth to use with pastels, I think it will still work well with pastel pencils. It has a ribbon to keep your place, an elastic holder to keep it closed, and a pocket at the back. Though this opens out you wouldn't be able to close the book if you put much in it. I like that it's vegan leather, and it still has a nice finish. Though the internal wrapper says it's leather which they might want to adjust.

I have used this special book to stick my mum's handwritten baking recipes into so I could preserve her handwriting for the next generation.The book is great quality; the pages are thick, it comes in a presentation box and has it's own attached bookmark ribbon.A lovely family heirloom.

Beautiful sketch book. Like other reviews have said, it arrived in a lovely box and was wrapped in tissue paper inside. Straight away I felt that this was going to be a quality sketch book. And I'm pleased to say, I wasn't wrong. The paper is a beautiful off white colour and a lovely thickness. I use fine liner pens to sketch, and there is no bleed through. They have a lovely padded hard cover, which is great for sketching on the move. Well worth paying a little extra for the quality. I will definitely be buying again.

It is comically large. I bought this solely as a worldbuilding journal and now I can draw giant maps and infographics. The paper weight is perfect, there is no bleeding or feathering and the texture feels good. I can say it is perfect for the fineliner pens and brushes I have but have not tried any wet media. The only issue was that it arrived with small scratches on the leather cover despite the packaging being undamaged. This makes me believe the damage happened during manufactoring. There are also tiny bits of adhesive (?) oh the inside of the cover but is very minor.Overall would recommend this and assume the smaller size books would have less chances of quality mishaps.
