Tighten the rod really good.
Works well. But it easy to loose the little rod. Just have to tighten really good when done using.

Nicely built tool, but doesn't work for my car.
This adjustment tool is made of metal, well-built, and I expect would do a precise job. If I could use it. I bought it to adjust my Jaguar brake booster, but it's not wide enough to fit over the master cylinder properly. Very disappointing. I'm keeping it because I like to have good tools, but be careful to see that it will work for your application. There must be wider ones for larger brake master cylinders.

This thing saved my butt when trying to re adjust an aftermarket break booster for the big toe accuracy, you just cant beat it

Works - But check the gap
In my Toyota factory shop manual, it mentions to use the gasket in the measurement process. This tool has exactly an offset of 1mm when flipped, like it was meant to compensate for a gasket. In my case, I needed to compensate that offset with feeler gauge otherwise the booster rod would be adjusted too long. Depending on car brand, that may change. Wrencher beware !
