Fun Little Train
My son loves this train. It has been surprisingly durable. It onpy requires 1 AA battery, but it does go through them fairly quickly.

Great in theory, slow train, quick battery drain
Our four year old loves the automatic train but we have found even with a new battery, the train is quite slow (especially if it needs to go over a "bridge" or "hill"). The train battery also doesn't last super long (maybe a week with moderate [<1 hour a day] of usage). Maybe we got a defective one. I love the idea but the execution is just ok.

Fits traditional wooden track
My son and I loved the sale of this train and it's his favorite color, red. Unfortunately the battery doesn't seem to hold up as long as other battery operated trains that I've purchased in the past. It does fit the traditional wooden train tracks just fine and the trailers are a fun addition in that they are empty so he can have them carry whatever he wishes. We made a fun game and had it carry candies and snacks around the truck for delivery.

My daughter was devastated when this arrived today and didnt work. It scooted maybe 3 feed then just didnt work at all. Brand new batteries were used. We have purchased once before and it also broke, but that was after a few months...
