Arrived yesterday and already proving invaluable, easy to use and simple to read. I have seen similar devices going for twice the cost, so I was slightly nervous this wouldn't be up to the task. Fingers crossed the positive start is the sign of things to come.

My job is concerned with sports turf for a National Governing Body and I use soil testing equipment costing thousands, so I reckon this was always going to be a tough test…although I ised it in my garden.This little soil probe is actually quite useful!The ph function appears to be accurate, so long as there is enough moisture in the soil, and the thermometer is spot on.The moisture function and light levels give a broad guide rather than specific values, but for garden plants and house plants this is good enough. The instrument delivers an almost instant reading too and is very easy to use.Build quality is fine for the price and it even comes supplied with batteries (4x AAA). I wouldn’t go shoving into firm soil on a lawn without dibbing a hole first though.Size wise it’s just about compact enough to carry in a coat pocket and you could leave it in a favourite plant in the house without it being too noticable. The display is clear to read also.A handy tool for gardeners and those that care about their house plants.

Cheap Chinese rubbish, does not meet UK standards and should not be sold in the UK, returned.

Everything works and was as advertised.

I enjoy the convenience of this meter. It keeps my plants and I very happy

I was disappointed to learn that the soil moisture is measured in abstract units like “dry”, whereas I need to know in percent. But frankly, it was as described.

Fonctionne à merveille

I like the 4 in 1 function, easy to read and use. It shuts off by itself which is good. But... i tested it against another soil tester i bought here on Amazon and used my fingers to determine how accurate this one is and it's not that accurate in my opinion. I'm not sure why. But there maybe something i don't understand. Thanks
