These is the best tool to have if you are needing to run wire off of large spools. They are portable, stable and can hold several spools all you need is a piece of scrap conduit and having multiple placement holes is great I personally have had 6 different spools of wire running at the same time. Beats the heck out of using your ladder as a rack or even making one yourself. This is the second set I have bought the other set was so good someone decided they needed it more then me so I got to buy another set. But fortunately I got a good price on this set.

this is a great and handy item to keep on hand. i own two sets now and would own more if they did not cost so much. it will hold a 1000' foot reel of 12/3 mc cable. i have also used them to unwind rolls of 500 mcm (short ones). the only thing you need is to keep a few different size rods to use. 3/4" grc works great for a lot of things but not the small 500' # 14- #10 wire. i picked up some solid stock from the hardware for those
