I’ve recently become a fan of GoveeLife products after trying their air purifier, and this Bluetooth thermometer/hygrometer has only reinforced that. I was initially planning to buy a cheaper hygrometer, thinking I didn’t need anything fancy—but I’m glad I gave this a go. It’s affordable, smart, and incredibly useful. The RRP is £19.99, but I managed to buy it with a 20% off voucher, which made it even better value. Our home tends to be on the colder and more humid side, and instead of spending an extra £50 on a dehumidifier with app connectivity, I opted for this device to monitor humidity levels more efficiently. It’s a budget-friendly solution that works like a charm. The pack includes two units, which I placed in the bedrooms. Setup was effortless—since I already use the Govee app, linking them was really easy. They required a quick firmware update during setup, but no other configuration was needed. I added a sticker to one unit to distinguish between rooms, though you can also rename them in the app to avoid confusion—especially helpful when tracking humidity for allergy management. The app widget is a great feature, allowing me to check temperature and humidity at a glance. Bluetooth connectivity works well, though it can take a few seconds to sync when I’m downstairs. A Wi-Fi version might offer faster and more consistent connectivity, but this one still performs reliably. The devices are compact and efficient. They come with hanging strings, but I’ve placed them on bedside tables and they work perfectly. Build quality feels solid, and readings are consistent. I love how seamlessly they fit into my existing Govee setup. Overall, this is a smart, sturdy, and cost-effective way to monitor indoor climate. Highly recommended if you're already using Govee products or want a simple way to track humidity and temperature without overspending.

Easy installation and let's me see the temperature inside my van

I bought this for checking outside temperatures while backpacking and camping off the back of many YouTube recommendations. Before it's even been out on a trip it's in my home office monitoring temperatures while I'm working. I also had it in my portable car compressor fridge to track how quickly it reaches set temperatures, how often it powers up to maintain it, and helped me find the best settings for the power consumption. It uses the Govee Home app, so if you're already in the Govee smart home device eco system then you'll already have what you need. I'm not so I was a little disappointed it wouldn't work with SmartLife, but at least Govee doesn't force you to have a cloud account. Having said all that the Govee Home app is easy to use and the thermometer integration is pretty good showing a multitude of readings and graphs. It's a great piece of kit!

I use it as a travel thermometer. It's early days for the battery but so far the app is ok to pull a block of readings manually.

Disgusting. The ad clearly states that you get notifications if it drops below your set temperature and humidity range, except it doesn't. You have to have the app open and manually click on each device and wait 20-30 seconds for it to load before it will display the reading. The notification feature is pointless if you have to have the app open on the device page in order for it to work. I spoke with customer service about it and all they said was "yes, it's a bluetooth device", insinuating that I should have known, as if that fact justifies their blatant lying about this products capabilities and features. Disgusting behaviour. I am returning and will never buy another Govee product.

Couldn't get it to link with my phone even when I lay the device on top of the phone. I checked that the phone was set on Bluetooth but nothing. I didn't even bother to try the second device, they're going straight back to Amazon.
