My small Betta tank was getting taken over by black algae. I started adding a tiny bit (1 oz) about once a week and it started dying back. Now after a good clean I keep up this regimen and no more algae!

Nice supplement if you're trying to avoid CO2 injection. Won't make as big of a difference as CO2 injection, but it does help. Plants have grown a little faster with it. It is always either hard to find on Amazon or at a reasonable price.

I had some ups & downs caring for my aquarium plants. I finally got the gist of it. I don't need 10 different supplements, pretty much just thus one & the chlorine filter after water changes & that's it. My plants are green & healthy. I'm very satisfied!
