This is the single most important baseball purchase you can make. My son, 8, was hitting off of my launch angle tee for the longest, the problem with that is the tip would come off. I purchased another tee (the one that stands on a tripod) but this one was constantly getting knocked over even if you barely touched the tee. Getting backspin on the baseball is important. Therefore, you want to hit the bottom half of the baseball (or atleast cut it in half). This tee allows you to hit the bottom half of the ball, scrape the tee and the tee will not move a muscle because it is weighted. Every so often, you have to twist the stem of the tee to the right in order to tighten it back down (I've never had it fully unloosen during a session and the tee has about 2,500 swings on it. 2,500 swings... no issues. May buy another one after this season. Would strongly recommend the purchase.

I got rough young boys and it is still kicking this season. Also took it to team practices and it’s still doing well. Easy to adjust. Easy to move. Just one step to put together and you’re ready to go. The rubber ones come apart when you miss the ball slowing down the process. You miss the ball here the top usually stays on. I have seen it happen where a kid is completely under a ball and the part that holds the ball up came back to position and continue to hold the ball!

It’s been a great tee for my softball player to practice with until the topper ripped. Tried finding a topper replacement with Playaput and can’t fine one for this tee. It’s been two years since we bought this, and really didn’t want to buy a new one. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is can’t get topper replaced.

I purchased this batting tee on April 5, 2025, and unfortunately, it hasn’t worked as expected. The adjustable tube keeps sliding down every time we place a ball on top, which makes it really difficult to use. It becomes frustrating having to constantly reposition it since it doesn’t stay at the desired height. I really liked the idea of the sturdy base and the product description highlighting durability and stability, but the main issue with the sliding makes it hard to get any consistent practice. To make matters worse, product support is not available, so I wasn’t able to get help or find a solution. Overall, I love the concept, but without reliable product support and with the tube constantly sliding, it hasn’t worked out for me.
