Great quality brackets
The brackets are high quality and sturdy. The accessory fasteners kit is of low quality. The screws are thicker than a normal drywall screw and several were not true(slightly bent). The drywall plugs don’t break off the plastic chisel point and the screws force the ENTIRE plastic drywall plug to rotate, making a hole that cannot be used ad must be plugged. I did not use the masonry plugs, so I cannot rate them. The shelf bracket wall mount is 2” wide and the fastener holes are 1 1/2” on center-useless for a US wall stud that is 1 1/2” wide. Once fastened with both screws into the wall 2’ x 4”. The brackets are exceptionally strong. Mount the wall brackets to determine the EXACT center-to-center for boring your holes into the shelf.

Excelente calidad

DIFFERENT IDEA FOR USING THE FLOATING SHELF BRACKETS (8"/12 pack)
Having an idea in mind for hanging mugs, after searching the internet and Pinterest for my idea and not having any luck, I "designed" my own with help from my husband. I did not want a mug tree taking up counter space, nor did I want to have holes in the underside of my cabinets. Originally, we had tried installing the "rods" directly into the sheetrock, but as others have stated, the anchors pulled right out. Using a small piece of oak, stained to match my cabinets, my husband screwed it into the wall (being sure to hit a stud). Using the screws that came with the brackets, we screwed the rods/brackets directly into the oak. In order to give the rods a tiny bit of slant to keep mugs from slipping off, I super glued two small washers (pic #2) to the "well" at the back of the rod. Word of caution, if you do this, be sure the "well" is the same "depth" on the rods or they'll be uneven (good thing there were 12 rods, as they aren't all the same depth). To keep the mugs from bumping each other, I used super glue to apply small bumper pads (pic #1). I also used a small magnet to cover the screw. Hope you like and enjoy my creation. The rods are great, the installation accessories not so much. 8" will hold 4 good sized mugs.
