Will this be a good option for gluing a fabric/embroidered patch onto a leather shoe?

Indeed it will. It's excellent for gluing the entire sole of the shoe back on if and when it delaminates. I get an extra 8 months out of running or athletic shoes using barge which is a contact cement. I like the applicator in the can. If the lid gets sticky clean it with actone. Apply to both surfaces and wait 20 mins. then stick it together. If I'm gluing soles back on, I use a clamp. It is great for regular leather as well. Be sparing on the patch with the amount you use.

Is this suitable for leather saddle repair?

Yes, it’s primarily used to repair or resole shoes. Ensure both surfaces are clean or dirt and oil. Apply a thin coat of cement to both surfaces and allow to air dry for 5-10 minutes. Align the two surfaces and press lightly to ensure they are properly aligned then press harder once they correctly placed. Use clamps or suitable pressure for 4+ hours. You can use acetone for clean up.

will this work on paper to silicone?

Over the years I have found nothing will bond to silicone. Might stick for awhile but the difference in expansion I feel would limit the use together.

Will this work for gluing leather to wood?

Hmmm, haven't tried that application but would guesstimate it would as long as the wood to which the leather will be adhered is roughed up a bit with a file or some such.

Best Glue There Is

I love this stuff. This is my second purchase of this glue and I always recommend it in my crafting social media groups. I use it for everything. As a crafter, this stuff is by far the best glue I have ever used. Patience is needed to get the best hold and you defiantly need to be in a ventilated area. I have used it on foam, wood, plastic, ceramic, etc. It is amazing. It seems a little pricy, but it will last for months, as a little goes a long way.

Great for Leather work

I use barge cement for Leather work. It is awesome and figuratively speaking it welds the Leather together. If you want something to never come apart again, this is it. My only complaint was the company that supplied it shipped it with the lid not tightly screwed down. Thank goodness, they put it inside a plastic bag, and thank goodness it only leaked a bit. It was a bit of a chore to clean up the can,
