Easy setup. Puts out lots of heat! Solid, heavy logs which hold heat after the fire goes out which is nice. The remote is great! Not common on units in this price range. It has on/off and a built in thermostat. I set it to 70 degrees, place the remote across the room and it automatically keeps it in that temp range. The logs are an issue when first setting up. They aren't numbered and the pics are not very helpful for placement. It's like a puzzle. Have fun. They also put off an odor for the first few hours. After that, they are beautiful and the amber padding and small rocks included add a great ambiance. I purchased a universal gas appliance connection kit which is a good idea since it doesn't come with a lot of connectors. I can't believe this was under four hundred dollars. I'm very happy with this purchase.

The first one I got the pilot light would go out after 20 min. Seems there's a real problem with these. After much trying they sent me a new one and if I put all the logs in place the pilot will go out after about 20 minutes, I can use it if I don't add the logs leave it bare. According to what I can find out there is a spring in the control unit that gets hot and turns out the pilot light. Very disappointed don't buy don't buy!!!!!!!!! Pay the extra money and get another brand. I am retired and I don't have a lot of money to throw away, also this is our power outage back up heat. Sad Junk Junk JUNK .And Amazon continues to let them sell these units, Buyer Beware!!!!!

This fireplace looks realistic and really warms our living room up. My cats love it! I love the thermostat in the remote. It would probably get too hot if you didnt use the thermostat. Works great and we really like it.

Nice fireplace. Install was fairly straight forward was switching out one that was there. Fire is nice, does throw some good heat. Only complaint is the remote. Easy on/off but if you want to use the thermostat part of it not so easy. Only will set by chance. Wish I could get a different one that had more controls so it was easier to set a temperature and forget it. Otherwise nice.

I was hesitant to purchase as some reviews hadn’t been the best, but we’ve been extremely happy with the product. Our previous natural gas fireplace lasted 10+ years so when I was tasked with finding a new one it was daunting. We pulled the trigger on this, it arrived about 7 days after purchase, it was packaged great. I’m a handy guy so I installed it myself in about 40 minutes with nothing else needed but a simple fireplace kit from the hardware store. We love the controller, it makes things so smooth. The fire looks just how you’d want it, quite, doesn’t let off a bad smell, easy temp control… We are happy!

Great set of 24" ventless gas logs from Duluth Forge. Arrived wrapped up tight and factory sealed. Set up is fairly straightforward but you will have to furnish (1) 3/4 NPT -1/2" male flared gas fitting as it is not included. Unit arrived set up for L.P. so that was a plus. Looks great and really puts out some heat. The remote control is definitely a plus as our existing gas logs were manual off/on. Looking forward to many years of service with these logs.

This has been a completely disappointing experience with this product and the product support. My fireplace is completely dead after only 1.5 years. Tried some troubleshooting but the fact is that this fireplace worked in my house rental for 1.5 seasons and it’s completely dead right now. I am going to simply replace it since this product and the troubleshooting is poor quality. Very disappointed.

I used the gas logs for almost a full season last winter and they worked great. At the end of last winter the pilot went out, after relighting when I turned the burners on they would only burn for less than 10 seconds. It was getting warmer so I left them alone for the summer. A few weeks ago I changed batteries in the receiver and remote and it worked great again for 2 weeks. A week later the pilot was out and now it’s doing the same thing. I wrote customer service but haven’t seen a response…and it’s getting cold again :(
