Excellent for skimming excess oil from homemade curries & the like. Removes the oil but leaves the ingredients behind.

The ideea is good, execution wise is well made and sturdy, in terms of use ..not sure if does bettee than a normal strainer or using a spoon on the side of the pot.. maybe a chef would use it better .

Versatile, and easy to use, this ladle is great for separating liquids from cooked dishes. I often like to make stews during the colder months, and I like to keep back some of the broth to make gravy with, so this ladle has been useful for me.But unfortunately, in terms of quality, the ladle feels quite cheap. The metal edges are a little sharp, not in a hazardous way, but in a way that just makes it feel unfinished. This can make it a bit uncomfortable to handle, but it is still usable.It washes well, and has been through the dishwasher multiple times, at no detriment to itself.Overall, I don't think it's good value for money at £11.99. The quality, in my opinion, doesn't justify the price. Although the ladle is still usable, I would not recommend!
