This is exactly how I imagined it would be... Total gem!! It does not have a indicator light determining weather its fully charged or not and you can't use them plugged in. Stand up charger only. The loudness is not as bad as I've heard in reviews (due to working with children). Lightweight beast, very comfortable in your hand, vibration is not all crazy, You will not be disappointed :)

This is my second one of this exact trimmer. The first one died after only a year of use and I thought I could just replace the battery but it’s hardwired. It would’ve cost me just as much to have someone replace the battery rather then buying a new one. The functionality and cutting power is great. It did not bite the skin and it’s very easy to clean. However, there is no charging indicator light on the charging station and it’s very easy to set this thing in the charger thinking it’s actually charging and it’s not. I also recommend letting it charge a full 12 to 24 hours before using. I almost returned it because I thought it wasn’t holding a charge, but it was because it was not charged up completely.-as stated above I thought it was charging and it wasn’t because it wasn’t sitting on the prongs properly. I wish they would add a light to the charging station or to the clippers themselves so you could see they’re actually charging. Also with my full wahl cordless clippers-you have the option of using a charging station or plugging them in directly to the bottom of the clipper from the cord-I wish this had the same option, but they don’t. If you’re going to buy these get the extended coverage from Amazon and or make sure you fill out the warranty paperwork because my first pair died after a year and if I had done my due diligence, I could’ve gotten them replaced for free.

So far I liked everything about this particular cordless clipper. I have always bought Andis until now. This is the one. Not sure about the other reviews I can only tell you from my own experience. I like this one better. It arrived fast and with no problems with original packaging and parts. I use it everyday it held a charge long enough to shave and cut my hair with time to spare. I’ll test out the full extent of the charge time and get back to you all about the results. But for now you can’t go wrong with this Wahl cordless clipper. Ps. I bought this because I needed a cordless clipper that could cut close. Zero is what I needed for facial hair and trim beard & mustache. I GAVE IT 5 STARS NOT 14WEEKS LATER IT STOP WORKING HOW CONVENIENT RIGHT AT THE TIME I CANNOT SEND THIS PAPER WEIGHT BACK. LOST OF MONEY. PLEASE ASK YOURSELF, DO YOU HAVE MONEY TO WASTE? THAT IS THE QUESTION....... Now for anyone who wants to question that here’s some information. I cleaned mines after every use and returned them to the charger they have never been dropped they still look brand new like I just taken them out the box just don’t keep a charger longer than 60 seconds if that.

I am a master barber of 10 years and Wahl is a solid professional company and has exceptional clippers and trimmers. I did a lot of research on these and I found that these were going to definitely be the next ones on my station for a very long time, however something unexpected did occur. The seller ship them in a box that was damaged and when I open the box all of the pieces were all over the place And appeared to be an open box, I also run my own self own business online so I know in open box when I see it, I inspected the clipper it’s seem to be OK, however I have no idea why the box was opened because if I could give this a one star I would because the seller did not do a great job with shipping. **TLDR** YES. Buy the retro T-cut. Don't waste your money. It's literally all you need. I've purchased... (I actually had to pause and think about this) 5 trimmers- not including the Wahl retro T-cut, trying to find one that's better than the retro T-cut; Anywhere from $30- $200+. Not even the $200+ one cuts anywhere near as close, as consistent, or lasts as long while truly being WAY more powerful. Yes it's crazy sharp... Because it needs to be; you're an adult... I mean, if you use safety scissors, don't buy this. FULL DISCLOSURE: I wanted one for just my body (bodybuilder) and another for just face. I'm about to buy the "Vapor" but I'm having a hard time not just buying another retro T-cut.

Really shocked at the high quality of these trimmers. I tried other brands before but was told by my barber that these were his go to for outlining beards and mustaches. Since nothing really exists on the internet about outlining a mustache, I bought them and have been incredibly impressed. It’s saved me so much time trimming and outlining. There are reviews stating that the trimmers were used prior and that there was hair on the trimmers, but if people actually read the documentation it clearly states that there may be fuzz and other fake hair particles from the quality assurance testing that Wahl does. Shame on all of the reviewers who disregarded the companies efforts to create a high functioning product. 10/10 would recommend to anyone with a beard or mustache and has to maintain constant grooming for an office setting.

I’ve used this only 4 times since I’ve bought it, charger stopped working and now the unit won’t turn on. I will be contacting the seller. Before the charger stopped working the trimmer was great. Right out the box it cuts pretty sharp, but for more of a professional cut I would zero gap the blade. The unit kept charge for the most part (about an hour of consistent usage) but even as it’s dying out it’ll cut pretty nicely but wouldn’t recommend doing so. I would’ve given a 5 star rating but the charger is useless, which makes the trimmer useless. Pretty upset because I read the bad reviews about the charger and still took a chance.. last time I do that.

I liked this trimmer but after using it a few times, it doesn't charge. It doesn't charge at all. I started using it in January and by March it wouldn't charge anymore. If anyone has faced this issue and was able to fix it, please let me know. Update: the trimmer was under warranty and I got a new one within a week. Very happy with the customer service provided and the quick arrival of the new trimmer.
