Love this paint. Very nice, vibrant, easy to mix and work with. Dried at a very reasonable rate.

After watching some fun Pinterest videos of gouache artists my son expressed interest in trying it. This brand was recommended by one of the artists so we decided to purchase and try. The quality seems good, though we are novices and don’t know anything else so can’t compare, but my son found it easy to use and follow along on the videos he watched. I do love that this paint is so easy to clean up when you’re done and washes easily out of brushes. He is still working on learning how to blend without the colors getting too muddy. But I think it looks beautiful and that it’s a great value to start with if you want to dip your toe in experimenting with this medium. The variety of colors is also a big plus. I love all the options.

These colors are great, and they are bright and vibrant. I thought at first there wasn’t much gouache in a cup but the cups are really deep and I’ve realized I don’t have to use a lot of paint for the color and consistency I’m trying to achieve. They are fun, easy, and consistency is great. Price is great as well. I was pleasantly surprised, especially not wanting to spend a lot on something i didn’t know if it was going to be good. Cute and easy case. Gave me a lot of inspiration. I would say they are above student quality. A great product for the price! I love them.

I’m new to using gouache, but have painted in watercolor acrylic and oils for years. I love the soft creamy consistency, colors are bright, I like them a lot. Good coverage.Great for new artists and the more seasoned .

My daughter loves this paint. It smooth to paint with with good coverage. Nice to blend with. Was really excited when she was painting with it. Big downside is to this is the cups are not able to be purchased individually so if you run out of one color you have to buy a new set. If I'm wrong please let me know. Cups are removable from the set so seems odd. So to me is a big downside to this wonderful product.

I already own high quality gouache that comes in tubes, but I wanted something that was really easy to use (and clean up) so I could paint more often! No use in having fancy materials if you don’t use them, right? So I ordered this cute little set. Pros: good color range, decent brushes, cute + portable little box. Cons: kinda hard to open the little cups; colors are streaky; not really intended to be fully opaque; so far I’ve kept the seal on the cups to prevent them from drying out but that makes it harder to use them and see what colors are where (though there is an included “map” of where the colors are). In my experience so far, using Canson multimedia paper and the included brushes, the gouache works best thinned out more like a watercolor, though the effect is not as transparent and it doesn’t give a clean wash of color. It’s fun having all these colors, and this set is making it easy for me to paint in my art journal daily bc it’s portable and easy to clean up. Would I use these for a project I cared about? No, but as a busy mom trying to fit in time for creativity, this set does the trick!

Having a blast using this "jelly gouache" set - lots of fun! Colors mix nicely on the palette and you only have to maintain a certain consistency for them to work properly - not too "dry" or too "wet" - otherwise they are either troublesome to spread or too thin to deliver the color you want (too much water they become watercolor-like, but not as vibrant). But when used as intended, these Himi gouache sets are very nice - Upkeep is required (periodically spritzing the paint pots w/water and mixing the paints with a stir tool so they don't dry out or separate from their binder (I use an EXEART Electric Pigment stirrer - perfect for the task) that keeps them viable.

Absolutely great!!! They’re so nice and bright, plus they are great quality! Would recommend looking at some tutorials before painting with them because you might get a bit frustrated

Fantastic paint the quality and colour are just fantastic. This was given to my daughter as a Christmas gift as she is an artist and she absolutely loves the colour and the quality of the paint I would say for beginners andprofessional artists
