this is a must have if you have a generator. easy to hook up. i am not even an electrician, but i know enough to do this. the 15' cord is perfect length. i will buy another one when i need one.

I had to update the set screws (to hex set screws from Harbor Freight) on back of the plug to "securely" retain the copper lines in their correct clots. The slot/Philips set screw included would not properly secure the copper wires, wires slipped out of their slots during assembly of the plug box. Poor design - could have used a more robust set screw to give users a better chance of success.Have yet to use the plug as intended - updates will be added if I run into any future problems.

Industrial constructed! Thick rubber coating over the wires with a rubbery hard plastic cover. Easy to use and extremely well made. Made to last.

We use this on our RV when we go to the beach & we have to hook up to either our generator our the RV parks hook ups on site. They come in handy & we have actually gotten more since this one. I would recommend these.

Landnor 30AMP Generator Cord & Pre-Drilled Power Inlet Box - 15FT, 125V/250V, Twist Lock Connector, L14-30P/L14-30R, ETL Listed.This came with the inlet box, the 15ft 30amp (all 4 pin) generator cable, a cable tie/tidy and a drawstring bag.My home is actually wired with an outside box to the electrical panel on the inside. However it was incorrectly done by the previous homeowner who was a building contractor or an electrician. They used what is termed as a "suicide connection". They used a female inlet box on the wall instead of a male. That means that people are plugging in a male plug from their generator to the female socket in the wall. If the generator is on that means the prongs sticking out of the male plug are live and you willget shocked if you touch them. This is obviously bad practice, unsafe and against code.I got this kit fo fix the issue. There is plenty of space to work in the outlet box, it is huge. The insulation on the cable is thick and the plugs are robust, heavy duty and well connected.Thank you for reading my review and looking at my photos of this product.
