My son usually wears a 149R and he is also 5'11. The medium blazer fit him perfectly but the pants were slightly tight as he is a hockey player and his quads are pretty big. Hope that helps

I would get your normal size, but you would probably have to go take it to a seamstress to fit to your liking. I purchased this item for a wedding & it fit the groom well just a few minor fixes and he is 6’2
