Correct Voltage Worked Well for GBA game!
I checked the voltage with a multimeter and it was perfect (3.3v)!The spot welded metal tabs are small in comparison to the original Game Boy Advance battery, but it was just long enough to connect to the correct spots on the game’s motherboard. The battery didn’t have visible polarity markings (positive or negative) but that might be inferred by the shape of the battery, but I just used my multimeter to check.Good product!

Needs extra solder for Pokémon game boy games
Great price. The battery doesn’t look identical to the photo displayed. I’ve attached one to show what you should expect. The solder arms are actually facing the opposite way than what I wanted. The Pokémon yellow battery I replaced has the arms flush against the circuit board, and these stick up making you need to stack extra solder to meet the arms but they do work perfectly, it’s just not as clean looking as it could be. If you’re replacing a Pokémon red, blue or yellow these will work just be prepared to use extra solder to make the connection solid. Even if you’re new to soldering it’s an easy task even for your first time. Just know the positive side shown is what needs to face down so the arms which were thinner than the displayed pictured ones stick up the full width of the battery as apposed to being flat.

Metered Perfectly, But Expensive.
Seems like a great battery. It metered out almost perfectly and the tabs are sturdy, but the price for one battery is high. I can get 10 CR2025's for 15 USD, this was almost 9 USD for one. I am still happy with my purchase just wish the price wasn't only for one.

High price, cheap battery, low voltage
I bought three of these batteries to replace dead batteries in my old gameboy games. When they got here I tested the voltage on all of them and the highest was 2.7 volts MAX with the lowest of the three being just under 2.5 volts. I soldered the highest voltage new battery onto my pokemon yellow game card and saving worked fine for just over 15 hours of gameplay, then I go to boot it up one day and the save is gone. I tested the battery at the contact points and both pads were still receiving power, but the voltage on the battery was 2.45 volts. It's been less than 2 months. This was my first venture into replacing these old batteries and I wanted to buy a high quality battery that would last a long time, that's why I sprung for these thinking that because they were $7 a piece they had to be good.Like I said these were the first batch of batteries I bought for this project so I don't know where to look for a good cr1616 that already has tabs on it but it will never be these ones. The price tag is a scam, these batteries suck. RIP safari zone catches.

Worked great on my Pokemon yellow version
I used this to fix my Pokemon yellow version. It wasn't saving my game but now it does.

Pretty good battery!
If you've been debating about replacing batteries in your old copies of Pokemon, do it right. Buy yourself a new battery with solder tabs, get a cheap solder kit and just do it. If you are careful, it isn't hard and if you are unsure of yourself, YouTube has a wealth of solder tutorials and information on how to do it correctly. Trust me, it's better than trying to pry the battery off the board.

Have a nice
The original CR1616 is mounted with the - (negativepol) up. The new CR1616 cant be fitted this way because the Tabs do not align. So what you have to do is turn the CR1616 upside down so that the + (pluspol) side is up . Then solder - neg.to -neg and + plus to plus. There are + & - markings on the Cartridge board, -neg is top right corner. Have a nice day

Great product
Batteries were as expected. Tested with a multimeter mine output the correct voltage. The solder tabs were a little short for the pokemon emerald game I put them in, so they had to be re-bent a bit, otherwise the product was great.
