Convenient and inexpensive
I’ve ordered this microwave rice several times because it tastes so good. Koshihikari is a very good quality rice so I felt good about choosing it initially and now that we’ve eaten it, we are even happier. It’s very convenient for preparing a quick meal using furikaki or some leftover curry, or making a rice roll with a piece of nori and some tunafish. The texture is perfect for people who like Japanese rice.

Really great!
OK, I really love this rice!!! It makes short work of a side dish or rice for stir fry, or just buttered rice. It is ready in 2 minutes, and it tastes great. I LOVE the connivence of this rice as well as the taste.

Quick and Yummy.
I grew up with Nishiki rice. My Mother who was born in Japan said this was the best rice in the USA. My whole family loves it. Every one who has tried this brand loves it. Taste and texture is spot on with excellent everything. I have lived in Japan also. This package is not quite as good as a rice cooker. However quick and yummy.

Paying for convenience
These are convenient, easy to make, and have a good flavor. The rice itself is very soft has a sticky quality so if you're looking for something with a firmer bite you might prefer minute rice but I find the instant minute rice has a slightly unusual taste so I prefer this for meals where rice is the star of the show. At about $1.66 per bowl these are competitively priced to similar products, sitting in the lower end of what I've seen. I do still wish they were either a bit cheaper, or at least were sold in 8 or 9 Oz bowls instead of 7.4oz, but I recognize that with products like these you are mostly paying for convenience.
