Looks and feels quality. Associated App on Android works okay - Easily navigated. Different contact areas on pay terminals at shops require some learning to operate quickly. Need to alter the position of your hand to activate payment sometimes, but has been successful every time. Will not work at fuel pumps though ( this may be the £99 authorised upfront payment thing with those). Lasts 3 years (like your card does) and promise of discount when replacing is a consideration..Worth buying for the reactions of others when using.... 🤣🤣. Black Friday deal was even better. Happy to have one each for me & my wife.👍👍. EDIT: My ring became unresponsive 5 months in.... customer service from Mclear was spot on, and sent a replacement one, which was easy to transfer my funds to, from the faulty one...Again, very happy with the whole deal. Top marks company 👌

The media could not be loaded. Can’t be happier, really pleased all round. Initially I had issue because the cellophane (with the code on) was discarded, but contacted McLEAR (through “contact seller” within Amazon) and they were able to provide the lost code. Despite my best effort the ring was slightly too small, so followed the RingPay app setup process and was able to say ring didn’t fit and organise a replacement.The ring itself, feels good on my finger, I’ve only used it three times so far, and it’s worked as expected, every time, so really easy to use. I’ve been trying to think of additional applications, best so far would be for me to be able to give the ring to my partner, to buy things, without having to give them my phone, watch, card or cash.Really excited with the prospects for its use, and since the app allows me to track transactions, temporarily deactivate the ring and control top up and the amount that can spend using it, I feel in control all the time. All in all, my new favourite accessory and would highly recommend to everyone.

Ordered this as I thought it was unique, clever technology.Received the item quickly, downloaded the McLEAR app and set up my card. Wonderful!Less than 8 weeks later - not so wonderful. Apparently McLEAR updated their app which resulted in my card details disappearing. No problem, I thought, I'll just reload the card details. No joy. It will not accept any card details. Deleted app, reinstalled app and tried again. Still no joy. Standard pre-written email response from customer services. THERE IS NO PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT THEM. Went into my bank and tried all this with bank staff (just in case customer services blamed my card). The bank then issued me with 2 new cards and still neither card would upload. Still waiting for advice from customer services as to how to resolve this. THEY WILL NOT REFUND AFTER THE RING HAS BEEN ACTIVATED EVEN THOUGH YOU CANNOT USE IT. Yes, it is clever technology, but what a dire customer services team. No help to me at all.

It is stylish and easy to use .Most retailers are left godsmacked.Unfortunately it is not always possible to pay at tjose places dtill lagging in technology.It is a very new way to pay.No need to charge.Just like a bank card.

I have never had a phone which i could use as a payment device but when i saw this ring, it seemed just what was looking for. It works very well. I was a bit dubious as i found out that it doesn't directly link to my debit card but instead you need to load money onto it from your funding source. I have used the ring in 3 different shops now without any issues and i have also topped up 3 times on the app which shows up instantly. I have now set up an auto top up so if my balance falls below a certain amount, it will top up with my desired amount. The ring itself is well made and i cant stop playing with it. Lasts 3 years as a payment device.

Excellent until I went on app to check balance it had locked me out and 3wks later I’m still not using ring as won’t let me back on the app would love to talk to someone instead of emails back and fourth that’s all McLear are doing not helping at all

The media could not be loaded. I bought size 12.5 (my usual size). I should have change it with 12. Meh. It's fine. The ring is easy to use once you add your card and top up some money. Quite handy the Auto top up function. And the payments are fast. The ring doesn't need to be charged like some other rings. Yeee. Lets see how it works after couple of months. I'l be back with updates.
